I started a new career with the PCMdaily 2013 db, and I was wondering if the wildcards for UWT races are already given to teams in the db itself? Like, do I have any chance of getting a wildcard for the GT's when I'm playing with a self-made Pro Continental team?

They aren't given yet. So yeah, it's still possible to get a wildcard with a self-made team, though it's not always easy of course

Any advice how to have the best oppurtunity to get a wild card?
I want to start a carrier with IAM, and im a freak when i comes to realism.
Like IAM in real life participate in Paris-Nice, Milan-San Remo, RVV, Paris-Roubaix, Amstel Gold Race etc, i want to participate in these races to.
So edit IAM to Pro division is not an option, because then i will race in Tirreno-Adriatico, Catalonia etc.
What effect the chance? Money/sponsors, results, the star evaluation of the team, country, or one extreme good rider?
Im considering making a guy with 85 i all, and dont use him in any races, retiring after 1 season. Will that work?
I think it's mainly nationality based. So, with 19 WT-teams, it will be very hard to get wildcards for any of the French or Italian stage races (as well as the Eneco Tour), but you should have a decent chance for the other ones.
The easiest solution is to edit DYN_team_race in an ongoing career. Search for the races you want to participate and change for IDteam 117 (I AM Cycling) the invitation state to WILDCARD. However don't forget that in place for your team one wildcard team has to be rejected for the race because WT races have a limited number of teams participating in this particular race.
Chances for a wildcard
The game evaluates for every team a score how attractive the team is for this race. Mostly the highest score gets an invitation for a race and the other teams are rejected. The nationality, the strength (and maybe results) of your team have an influence on that score. But the nationality has a huger weight than your team strength.
