Ah, it was about time
This team is really strong at climbing, just incredible. I think you can be a main contender at every GT.
Just not nice that you stole Van Avermaet
Hey Guys, im Taylor Love. Im a young sprinter from New Zealand. At the end of last year i got released from my amateur team based in Australia. They released me on the terms that I'd go out and see the world (and maybe ride my bike a bit as well) and sign with a larger team.
Last season, i ended on great form and had a flurry of wins in a short time. Towards the end of the NRS (National Road Series) in Australia, i really started to improve quickly, really gaining reputation for having a lightning quick sprint. I took 8 wins in 11 stages at 3 different Stage Races, and got snapped up by Allianz - BMW not long after. They have been kind enough to grant me a 1 Year Young Rider Contract, at which point they will discuss with me my future in the world of cycling.

So... The Tour Down Under is finished. What a close race. Tight sprints, exciting breaks and merely seconds separeting the GC guys, this race had it all.
The team had some good results, claiming 6th and 15th on GC, 2nd in the Youth Classification, 6th in the Teams Classification and 17th in the Points Jersey (courtesy of me).
My best result of the race was the last stage, making the break, claiming 3rd in the first IS, winning the second (and taking a nice $600AUD prize), and being the last breakaway rider to be caught, with only 7km's left. If only i could time trial...
I didn't really get any stage results as such, but i did have a few other break away attempts that proved to be fruitless. Kudos to Mr van Avermaet who raced to several top-10's and 6th on GC.
This performance put me 17th in the Points Classification. I also managed to grab 4 KoM points on Stage to put me on the board for the KoM Jersey (although i finished tied last). I finished 97th in GC, just scraping in for the top-100. This put me in 27th for the Youth Classificaition.
