Hi there,
I'm pretty new over here.
Just bought the game, tried to run it...
But keeps crashing EVERY time !
Tried the no_cd patch, tried the stanoscase DB, tried it without any patch... every time !
It doesn't matter if I start a career, or just one classic, or just a tour: keeps crashing !
Yes, i have Vista (...), but besides that it's a brand new computer (latest processor, lots of space on hard drive, ... )
What can I do?
Which patches to download?
Which corrections to make?
Please some help !!!!!!!!!
Was really looking forward to play this game as a newbie, ... |

Well, first of all, I guess it's the best to "restart" by reinstalling the game.
1. Uninstall Pro Cycling Manager
2. Go to "Start" -> Run and type in %AppData% . In that folder you will find a folder named Pro Cycling Manager. Delete it.
3. Go to My Documents. Inside that folder, there's another folder called Pro Cycling Manager. Delete it.
4. In your Program Files-folder, there's a Cyanide folder. Delete it.
Now, do this:
1. Install Pro Cycling Manager
2. Install Patch 1.0.3.1
3. Try to run the game
When you've done that, and it still doesn't work, write here again |

...and I'm back again :-(
Really tried everything: run the game with, and without patch, ...
Every time again: "PCM stopped working"...
What can I do next? |

Okay, when does the crash happen? When you launch the game or during the game?
If it's when you launch the game it could be due to you having a firewall or antivirus program open. If you do have a program like that (Norton, McAffe, etc.), disable them. |

It's at different moments:
Most of the time when a new race is just loaded (screen with the mini jerseys), but other times during a race. (I've never finished a race yet)
At this moment, I even can't start runnig PCM...
I'll try to disable everything... |

Did you try to disable antivirus and firewall programs? |

And if that doesn't work, try to go to your PCM-folder in Program Files and find the file named PCM.exe. Right click and choose Properties. In the new popup which comes up, choose Compatibility.
In this tab, you can choose to run the game in compatibility mode. Choose Windows XP and click OK.
Now, try again. |

Ok, computer fixed, so tried everything everyone told me overhere.
Disabled firewall, ...
Changed the comptability to XP instead of Vista
Now i can't even start a game:
I choose the dutch language, made some changes to 1650x1050screen, no sound, ...
Start a singleplayer etappe, click on "realistic" and all of a sudden: the game shuts down...
No report of a fault, failure, whatsoever !
Changed it back to Vista, same failure !
Next option? |

Last option is to mail Cyanide about it: https://www.cyanide-studio.com/?rub=su...ub=support
Make sure to attach your DxDiag-file. |
