I've edited the 2013 preview database to change a team name, and a few riders details, I've saved an XML but can't find the way to make the changes work in game.

Any pointers would be great.

I guess you have used the editor which came with the game.
Saving is not needed but you have to build another database (or whatever that function is called).

Also make sure that you click the save button at the very bottom of the interface after each edit.

But if you are using one of the databases, which can be downloaded here, then you have to use another editor, because the default editor will not work with properly.

Thanks Lachi, I've decided to wait until v1 of the '13 database is released before starting a new game.
