Game doesn't start (CD not detected)

Hy guys, just in case somebody still reads this.
When i want to play the copy safe screen appears which says that i have o put the original Cd in to drive.
Has anyone had this problem before, is there a way to fix it?
(of course i have the original CD in there) |

Hi, it works on my lap top.
This is the first time i tried it on my home computer.

If not, you might have a damaged CD Drive?

Thanks for your help, i wasn't succesful, though.
It is a problem with the star force copy protection. As i found out this seems to be a problem that others have had too. The sar force programm simply doesn't detect the original CD on my computer. This really sucks as apperantly there is no way to fix it . argghhhhh |

Did you install the last patch for the game already? Some of the older PCM games had a no-cd-patch included in the last patch.
Also you could download the latest starforce software for XP from the starforce website. I guess you would need to remove the previous starforce before installing the new one, but you might find helpful information on the starforce site. |

Hi. I donlowaded the latest star force updates.
s for the patches. They don't seem to be available under the links here, any more. |

If you have issues with starforce under windows, you can try to replace some games files with the ones from the silver edition (last CD edition of PCM2006 - I own one), but there is a bug with loosing some languages:
