How to cancel signed precontract?

I've managed to sign a youngster on a precontract (will sign in august, currently in march), but after further monotoring I don't really want him.

The question is then; how can I "delete" the contract using the editor?
I'm familiar with the tool, but I can't remember all the steps in the process.

I cannot remember either, but do you really have to delete him?
I would suggest that you continue the career until august and then fire him or delete him from you team.

There is a table called DYN_contract_cyclist_offer which might contain his precontract.
The youngster should be in the table DYN_young_cyclist.

The problem is that my squad is full, and he is blocking a "real pearl/future great" from signing. I've tried to fire one of my current riders, but it had no effect.

I've found him in "Cyclists", and the "team" and "contract" drop-down menu are both empty.

As for the "Cyclist Contracts" he is listed with a contract end year and a numeric date (code)

As for the "Young Cyclist" all I can find (of possible interest) is a fkIDcyclist_pro with the value 4

"Cyclist Contract Offers" is empty. Nothing here.

He also shows up in the "Transfer" window, along with all the other signings (youngsters)

Delete him in DYN_contract_cyclist, I think this should be enough.

I had the same problem, so I took a look to the DB. First you have to choose if you keep him in U23 or send him to Elite 2.

In both cases delete him from the DYN_contract_cyclist.
If you want to keep in Elite 2: nothing to do more, other teams can sign him for next year.
If you want to keep in U23: delete him from DYN_cyclists. And in DYN_young_cyclist set his fkIDcyclist_pro to 0.

I'm just in May, so I can test it later, but I think it should work!
