Hi all !
PCM Actu and PCM France members know well this project, because it has been launched since three months ! It's now time to present it to the Pro Cycling Manager World !
What's the French Community Database ?
This database is a project reuniting PCM Actu and PCM France to make the most complete and the most reliable 2013 database.
Why will be this database special ?
First of all, this database likes to think she's as reliable and realistic as possible. You will not see malaysian team wining the Vuelta a Colombia, because all will be done to see teams running their regional races, in order to have a game nearby the reality. This optimal distribution of teams and races will be added to a very meticulous rerating made by the master on the subject: Daizenshu (author of the Electrozenshu for the connoissers of PCM 2009). We also have a wish of graphical excellence. So, you'll enjoy the most complet pack of fantasy sponsors ever realised for Pro Cycling Manager. Each mini-shirt will be at PCM 12 format, shirts have been carefully chosen in order to offer you the best. Finally, each sponsor will have his own logo on the menus, and many efforts have been done to have many sponsors with their own accessories and/or their national champions shirts. This wish of graphical excellence will be seen on the game interface. New backgrounds, new autorun, new newspaper, and many other surprises: All has been done very carefully and very conscientiously. Finally, as much 2013 stages as possible will be inserted, because we have at our disposal a qualified and motivated team of stagemakers.
Can you share a projected release date ?
We want to release the FCD around the 15th of march. However, a 2013 bêta will be released in a few days.
How can we'll be informed about the advance of project ?
From the beginning, we proceed by a system of weekly news. The "News of the Week" previously published will be posted following this post.
Can we help you ?
There is always a way to help us ! However, the priorities remains graphists and stagemakers. But you'll all be useful !
How can I share an idea with you ?
You just have to post it on this topic ! All suggests will be carefully studied, and realised as far as possible.

Looking forward to this one, really liked the PCM'Actu DB.
One initial question: will this DB be based on the 2013 UCI calendar dates?

Yes, we are changing the dates of UCI calendars, for exemple, the Tour Of Poland will be back in august, and the Tropicale Amissa Bongo will take place in january. And we will try to make the most real calendar possible, for exemple we will delete the Flèche D'émeraude, which race won't be active during the 2013 year.
Two importants news : the bêta will be released during next week.
And more features of the db will be given this week end. |

Yeah ! The beta (which far not as complete as the full version) will be released sunday. We have fixed some problems the 2 lasts weeks.
And i'll try to give features of the FCD in the week, i can't promise anything cause i'm really busy for the moment ! |

I don't have the list of teams, but i think there will be at least 2 or 3 continental colombian teams added. And of course, the vuelta of colombia will be here. |

Great news!! If you need any info about colombian teams I can help, pictures, logos etc, also there are like 9 jerseys made by davidov which are great. I modified myself my DB and added 4 teams but couldn't add the vuelta a Colombia to my game

Before i released the preview version of the FCD (which is far not as complete as the final version which will be released in the middle of march, so that's only to give you a little preview), you have to download the PCM Actu V4.2 2012 pack, because this preview is based on it. But it won't be necessary for the FCD final version.
