Evening guys...
Ive ridden 3 seasons swith Sky (now santander :S) and it seems every year all my top lead riders morale is always at very best normal? Its not as though im "loosing" races, Froome won the tour last year, Wiggins in 2012.. Cav's smashing all the sprints, naturally.
I just cant get their morale high and winning isnt doing the trick...
Ive played games with other teams many times and its still an issue that crops up, I feel now that even whilst only on normal im loosing races because of poor morale.. My rider stats and fitness are impeccable??
Ive searched around and someone said rather casually - send em training camps that'll help... Is this actually the case??
PLEASE HELP.... |

I have the opposite situation with 26 out of 30 riders 'Over the moon'. I'm not doing anything specifically to get them happy. The recovery training camps usually gives a positive effect on morale. I've noticed a few tend to react badly (B.Hagen) to pre-season fitness camps.
I think the effect of morale is mainly seen on fatigue levels, but I might be wrong about that so don't take my word for it. |

Looking back at the training camps I've done I have had a positive reaction from almost every rider on all sorts of training camps, except for pre-season which got a negative reaction from most. |

i have the opposite case, even though i dont do any recovery camps. the only thing i do is try to make sure that the riders can participate in a few of their desired races. |

Thanks, I tried your setup, yoejo. Just a few riders got a negative impact on morale. I think it was 4 or 5 out of 29, which is a lot better. |
