Wow. That looks good. Never saw a DB with 200 teams though, even the PPDB giant doesn't have that many teams.

Good luck with this project. I've loved your releases in the past, and the sheer amount of everything in these dbs is purely awesome.
As for the jerseys, I dont know about now, but in the past they had a guy called pikachu I think, who made a million continental jerseys, for teams that many people have probably never even heard of.
Without the PPDB and Full Cycling Manager releases this year, there have been a lack of huge databases out, and I think the biggest thing is teams and stages. Playing as a team in Africa, racing in all the ranked UCI events, as per real life, would be so cool, more so than just leading Team Sky to the Tour win, imo. (Sorry for going on so long)
But in short, very good luck, I cant wait to play the db when its out

In our 2011 database, there were about 243 teams (including French DN1 - With a special NE calendar - and some australian teams) and the only bug reported was because of a mistake in scouting zones (two many countries for the game)

PT and Conti Pro of course. Most of Conti too (but some will probably have 2011-2012 jerseys : Some asian teams for example change their jerseys in september : Start of UCI Asia Tour Calendar
We'll need some more weeks to include all graphics we can find/make

 I love this man. We asked him in the past some jerseys. It's the only one that can do any jersey without asking why ! Most of minor teams jerseys come from him.

It's a shame for us too. In the past, we use to exchange datas and this year, there are fewer volunteers and less time to work on PCM DB. Thanks to Cya', we now have 3 real divisions. But my dream would be to have the whole calendar  For the moment, I loose a lot of time converting stages from PCM10 / PCM11 when they are not available for PCM12. And, some PCM10 creators are not here anymore or deleted their files

Currently, we have more than 5500 riders in our database (we use a special editor working with Access)
We introduce team one by one and we are checking every rider of the team. Currently, around 150 have been introduced
So we could need help to do jerseys, especially for continental teams and some national teams

how can you make this DB work?...I tried to add some teams...with 154 teams the DB works fine, when I add one more and reach 155 the game crashes everytime I start the game... |

We haven't try yet the career mode but it works in Race/Stage mode.
It seems we have the same problem as you in career mode. Game stops after choosing team. |

It seems we have the same problem as you in career mode. Game stops after choosing team.
The sheer amount of data is what is causing it. Not many have a computer that will run PCM 12 plus a DB 100% smooth. Gaming rigs can, but a typical computer/desktop gets overwelmed by the volume and crashes.
Perhaps if you split the DB into 2 parts. Allowing for 2 seperate styles. Pro/Cont and then the rest.
I look forward to seeing it. But my laptop wont handle it Im sure. Maybe set it up to be run from a seperate external HD? 1TB would do it, and the computer wouldnt have to try to cram all the DB into its internal HD.

It seems it's not a problem of computer power but it's a problem of the way Cyanide has built and limited the DB. I don't know if you can extend the maximum of lines in a xml file which is compilate after in a cdb and how.
But we continue to work and we have more than 6000 riders. All continentals teams, some nationals to have the biggest choice of team in order to play in Stage/Race mode. |

Well, as I understood from Coach, there's (it's the first year that happens) a bug or limitation with number of teams  . We included ALL UCI teams + some national ones (For PCM10, we had more than 210 teams and it worked) but it seems to be not playable in career mode. The first year that Cya' insert the 3 divisions, we can add less teams

Currently, we're compacting the different part of the DB (some of us are working on races, some others on palmares, others on riders and pictures, .... )
Hard part is to find a shirt for each team. |
