I came to realize that I was completely unable to run this game.It was CTD all the time.So I took the decision to remove all of it (as according to info on this site...everything related to PCM12 was completely and totally removed.
I then reinstalled. And to make sure I would run a race a single-classics. I choose E3 Prijs in total vanilla from cyanide. Nothing custom/no other DBs,no nothing installed.and guess what....as usual it CTD on entering the start screen.I had lowered the settings to make sure nothing was too high as recommended by lluigi.
so take a look at this.on the lft is what is needed to run the game,on the right the configs on my machine.

At this point I think it's up to Cyanide Support to help you out. We've run out of ideas here.
Yes and thanks a lot for the support (I mean that) but luckily (it seems) I wasn't so after returning from hospital, where I had to spent this day,I was fulll of ideas, So I went through what I had installed and when it it was installed.I then discovered the villain I hope. Advanced System Care, apparently that is not functionable with PCM,so out it went (which is a shame, but anyway) I then made a regedit removing higehr/lower (which is know to cause trouble too) and at this moment I have just run 2 races (E3/San Remo) which I wasn't able to run before,
This seems to have solved all my problems I really hope it has anyway,so now I will slowly install PCM, etc. and test everyway possible.
