Still PCM.exe runtime error..
trueatfirstlight
I'm a bit reluctant to even post about this, since I know everybody seems to have run into this problem at least once using PCM07 and it's all over the message boards, but I'll give it a shot anyway. I'm not sure many have had this issue since patching to 1.0.3.1.

Running PCM07, correctly patched and in good (previous) working order + PCM Spain database and update. All graphics drivers and system files are up-to-date, with more than adequate resources to run the game. I won't bother to post the system specs unless somebody thinks it will really help..

I run Team Milram, with two successful seasons under the belt. Grin Date is 18/01/2009, during the Tour Down Under, and I absolutely cannot get past this date. I've had the issue in the past where I would, periodically throughout the season, generate a crash after clicking on "3D Race," but I was able to sim that day and move along without a problem. But for this date, I can't even sim it to get by it, nor can I sim up to another later date (i.e. end of season). It seems stuck, and any action to advance the date at all results in an immediate crash. If it's any help, it seems to have gotten more and more finicky the later I progressed in manager mode.

Cross-posted in Cyanide's forum. Any suggestions that don't involve reinstallation or starting a new career are welcomed.

It's a known problem with PCM Spain, but luckily for you it's fixable -- I'll find the solution for you. Hold on.

Wow, many thanks for the quick responses guys. I must not have been searching correctly. Shockops:
I was just about to upload the file. I guess I'll mess around with the Hannes converter and see what I can do.

Also, out of curiosity, I found an old thread from PCM2006 where a similar issue had occurred and I was concerned it may have been a corrupt save game file.

Anyway, I'll have a go and see what happens. Cheers.

Don't worry about it. Our search engine might not be the best Wink

Anyway, I think it's very unlikely that your save game is corrupt. It's just the "usual" Tour Down Under-problem. If you can't fix it yourselves, I'm sure Addy (or someone else) is willing to help you out Smile

Well, thanks for the info guys. Unfortunately, I am still unable to solve the problem after trying again and again with the Hannes Converter. It seems like a relatively simple fix, though I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.. I've entered the values properly and translated the German in order to make sure it was saving properly. If somebody would not mind having a look, it would be appreciated. Sad

Hi guys,

Be lenient it's my first post ... ever.

Many thanks for all of you who provide us with help

Now ... back to play.
