I used to play handball before I moved to Ireland... Over here Handball is more like Squash but with Hockey gloves... However, I did play for my school in a few games. Yet Trinity College doesnt have an Olympic Handball Team, hence why I switched over to athletics last year.

Obviously here in Germany Handball runs very often at our sports channel and Eurosport.
I like to play Handball because I have got big hands and I was good at it at school
But I have to say that I don't really follow the German Bundesliga but more the World Championships.

In my town handball is huge since we are one of the only towns with two teams in the highest division (H43 and LUGI). BUt the're alöso the only teams where both the women and the mens teams are in the highest division.
The LUGI women team has been going strong lately especially with Sabina Jacobsen

Semifinal in Euro Sweden - Denmark, Denmark was huge favorite.
28-25 lead for Sweden with 2 mins left somehow they managed to screw that up and extra time but Sweden fixed it and in Euro Final for the first time since 2002!!
I have to say handball (at least European) is very nuique and interesting. It's completely different to the Australian variant I have grown up playing. Will try to watch some more over the course of this year.
