@zkkyby,
well for new people it can be a bit daunting on knowing where to extract or put things. For saddles, you will need to open up cycliste_ref.tga. Use either Paint.net or Photoshop if you have it. On the left corner you will be a standard saddle with appears in general game play. To change it, simply select the new saddle from the Accessory Pack, and copy it over the top. Save the file as 32 bit .tga . All the saddles are slightly larger than the original file. The reason is to cover the entire original so it does not appear when a new one is saved over the top. Careful with the positioning of the saddle. Only use the designated surface are of the original file. If it cuts over to other parts of cycliste_ref, then it will appear in that portion of the riders makeup.
If you have the benefit of 1 texture per rider in PCM2006 and you have peaux's assigned to various riders in your DB, then you can just select different sunglasses, go to the peaux folder in CM_Textures, open up the rider_peaux.tga file for your rider. Create a new layer then position the glasses over the top. Save as rider_peaux.tga in 32 bit and he should change his appearance in gameplay. As yet even though the feature is present in PCM 2007, you cannot as Im currently aware of, assign different faces to riders. The only option is to open the cycliste_ref.tga file and create a new layer, then position the sunglasses you want over the face then save as in 32 bit format. In this case, the entire DB of riders will have that pair of glasses.
As for the accessories. They are all localised. If you're using PCM 2006 you will need to go to CM_Textures/cycliste/accessories. Locate the teams items you wish to change and then replace it with one of the items in the Accessory Pack. Just saving as the team ID and ITEM. e.g SpuikRed or SuomyWorldChamp....change to tba/bar (Barloworld) tba_casque.tga and so on. Always make sure to save as 32 bit. With any graphic content in PCM. If you are using PCM 2007 its easy, just locate your /team folder and replace the items. Unfortuanately, at this point, rider configurations and kits are not individualised even though the accessories I created are. That means if you replace an item in your team folder , the entire team gets it. Until Cyanide develops a way to individualise each item in a team kit , the entire team will appear the same.
Hope this helps |
