I'm having problems starting the game. I've tried and reinstalled the game about 5 times now and it keeps crashing saying PCM.exe encountered problems. As much as I love this game. It has way too many faults. What's the point of having a converter if all its going to do is crash the game. After I've used it and crashed on me. I could never get it to work anymore. I've deleted all the files from Documents>Pro Cycling Manager and C:>Program Files>Pro Cycling Manager 07 and still says the same thing. What else can I do?
for anyone whose game might not be working, here's what I did (every step is mandatory):
1.delete the Cyanide/Pro Cycling Manager 2007 folder
2.delete the My Documents /Pro Cycling Manager 2007
3.go to Documents and Settings/(whatever your account name is). look at the "Application Data"(this name might not be in english. it's in whatever language your operating system is) folder. if it's not there, you need to make hidden folders viewable. delete the folder.
4.be EXTREMELY CAREFUL on this step. messing with registry incorrectly can seriously screw up your windows installation. use the search function to find any entries related to PCM. try, for instance, searching for "PCM". delete the entries (one, maybe two) that relate to it.
I won't guarantee this works for this particular problem. I can guarantee it works for the starforce problem that doesn't allow the game to start with no error messages.
