Since it's so popular in Pedro and other places, let's move all this Apocalyptic talk into one thread
I think we should organize something that day on PCM Daily, have some fun and go out with a blast! Let us also consider what could happen. I vote for giant fireballs, that'd be a cool way to be destroyed. Or maybe it's something of those self-fulfilling prophecies and the fear of the world ending will result in a nuclear war, hence the end of the world. Love it, it's ironic!

The delegate from Califawnia believes this is a subject of profound importance and moves to add it to the docket of the difficult topics thread.

I'm making a trip to my parents-in-law that day, does that count as the apocalypse?

The delegate from central Europe thinks, that our asses will be saved in the heart of Europe, but everyone else will be screwed by giant Michelin toys with laser sight killing everything that moves.

The polarization of the poles will change making the earth swirl off into space.
But later the earth will be be caught by another sun and starts to orbit it.
The strong radiation of that sun will mutate the remaining livings of the earth into dinosaurs.
And the history will repeat itself ... |

I looked out of the window and saw the end of the world coming closer.
Then I realized that it was just heavy fog. |

Oh man, I just had the most awesome dream. It was 21/12/2012 and everyone was standing outside. The whole universe started collapsing! It was amazing, stars falling out of the sky (which would be impossible, but anyway), planets were burning and nearing the Earth, we were going up in flames. It was so spectacular I wouldn't even mind the world/universe ending if it would only be that way |

Yeah, that would be cracking, but i was thinking yesterday about different matter. Why the heck this have to be in December? I would rather wait for it and watch it in summer, laying near some lake and with a drink in my hand (well a dozen of drinks).

So the universe was collapsing into the earth or even into you? You must have a big ego that you can soak up all the stars. |

No I could observe the universe collapsing whilst standing on the Earth It was night you know!
I actually started running away from it (well, you do illogical things in dreams, because it's fairly useless to run away from a collapsing universe when you're running on Earth |

I guess when the universe is collapsing, it does not matter where you stand or run.
But if you are running fast enough, you could speed up the earth rotation, this might be a valid escape plan, at least when you are a comic figure. |

Yeah, by making the earth spin real fast you could deflect incoming trouble
I guess we will need Danny Pate on the 21th of December, only a man of that strength can help us save the world |
