Can't run pcm

I can't seem to run pcm any more without turning on and off my computer between each play.

When I try to run the game, it says that pcm is already running on my computer. When I go to the task manager it says that pcm.exe is running, However I am unable to end the process, every time I try it just does nothing.

Turning off the computer and then back on again fixes the problem, but if anyone has a way round this so I don't have to restart the computer that would be most useful.

If I understood correctly, you cannot shut down the game properly.
How exactly do you quit the game?
What does happen when you quit the game?
Did you change some options in the game?
Did you install a patch or DB recently?

It only happens when pcm crashes, then when I try to restart the game it won't let me because there is a pcm.exe process already running.

When I try to quit this process it doesn't quit.

I installed the latest daily db quite recently.

Do you really try to quit the process? (On the second tab of the task manager)

I don't know how you could fix it. But try to turn off the intro videos in the options of the game.

Also you might want to reduce the graphical options. This should prevent the game from crashing.

Yeah, I really tried to quit process.

It's very odd, because I've never known that happen to any process before.
