Apologies for My Absolute Idiocy!

Hi Guys!
Cant beleive I only found out about PCM the other week.. Where has this game been all my life!?
Im sure you get this every flaming new guy that joins the forum but heres my pridicament..
I adore the game, Adore it but I cant help finding myself drawn towards real databases and kit etc.
Trust me ive spent literally 3 full days trying to tinker with the downloads and im finding it utterly heartbreaking that most flags and most continental logos and kits are big fecking pink logos..
I know I Know.. download the databases etc.. Trust me ive read - searched - read and tinkered and done it all over again..
I cant find the information thats helping me so I come hat in hand looking for some definative help 
So heres what Ive done..
Downloaded Steam, Installed PCM2012.. Played it.. Tried to get real names etc..
Downloaded PCM DAILY EXPANSION PACK FOR PATCH 1.4.0.0 - UPDATE FROM 1.3.0.0 ... Ive also downloaded PCMS DAILY EXPANSION PACK COMPATIBILITY FOR 1.4.0.0 ... Ive tried placing these in C:/prog files/steam/commonapps/pro cycling manager 2012/ as mentioned.. ive followed all the correct instructions ... hasnt worked... SO i put the files in my docs and also C:/prog files/cyanide/pro cycling manager 2012/ as you would if it wasnt bought via steam.. still no worky?
Am I doing anything wrong?
I cant live with these bloody pink flags haha!
Guys I genuinely appreciate your time taken to help me.. Im a genuine addict for this game, its even keeping me sane whilst my hand recovers from a fracture from a fall out riding... |

Since your DB is an update to the 1.3.0.0 I suggest you try downloading that as well (step 1 in the Installation instructions of your DB...)

Haha.. such a plank...
So Simply by downloading pcmdailys 1.3.0.0 patch should solve the issue?

It should work after downloading the 1.3.0.0 patch, but there may be some problems with the reverse-order installation, so possibly you will have to uninstall, and do it again, but this time starting with the 1.3.0.0 patch.

Im guessing this will have all the relevant graphics in the update? and I wont need to download them? |

Don't worry - we have all missed stuff once in a while...
Installing the 1.3.0.0 should solve the problem (you might have to reinstall the 1.4.0.0 update). That pack should include (most of) the graphics etc. The one you downloaded mainly fix/add some things in the DB.
