PCM 2012
Can anyone please tell me what the FIGHTER & RESISTANCE riders attributes refer to on the team roster.
I`m guessing that a good fighter is someone who keeps on going, when it`s a tough climb or high pace, but the resistance number I`m not really sure about.
Some clarity is needed.
Thanks.
PS So glad I`ve contibuted to the forums,if only to give Mr S his nice new nickname! |

Actually, resistance does what you attribute to fighter
Fighter only determines the attack frequency of AI riders.
Resistance slows down the decrease of the yellow bar at a given effort.

Wait? Isn't fighter also about how long you can continue attacking?
I mean as a human player... I'm sure it's not only for the AI...

I'm quoting Cyanide here:
Edit: Actually quoting Ruben, sorry about that
Defines how many times the AI (!!) attacks with a rider. Does really nothing for humans
MAJOR IMPORTANCE: Attackers, people who like to attack.
Wether it's climbers, stage racers, time trial specialists, cobbled specialists, I don't care, if they race aggresively, give them a good attack stat.

Oh yeah, got that too somewhere on my computer...
btw, I don't think Cyanide made that, but at least someone did who knows a lot about it...
I think he's right, but I don't know if it all stayed the same the last 3 years(this guide is from PCM2009)

I believe I read it somewhere that it was made by him, but it doesn't really matter. |

Orginally written by Ruben ( not Cyanide ), and then as PCM evolved it was modififed to this point by stat-makers of Daily DB. Wchich now comes to me

It's true, though. Also confirmed by Cyanide who claims it also affects the amount of green moments. This can't be confirmed by tests, though. |

the fighter ability is quite obvious to me while playing and im surprised more of you have not noticed it. while riding alone and riders effort is increased. the fighter stat reduces the effect of riding alone to a point. for example jens uses about the same effort alone or in a group because hes such an amazing fighter. poor fighters will tire soon while alone,
top 10 of all time in no particular order, not including the cannibal cause hes automatically #1:
-Gemininani -Nencini -Anquetil -Coppi
-Kelly -Hinault -Zabel -Bettini -Rebellin -Magni
..and honorable mention to Tom Simpson whos career was cut short.
Top 5 noobs most likely to tear it up this season:
-Phinney -Moser -TJ -Guardini -DURBO!
