Patch 1.0.4.4 Help required

Could I ask for some help please? The problem I have is, I've downloaded this patch but now have a small yearly budget of €640,000, so I'm going bankrupt every month. Now I've seen in some of these threads that you need some editor to update it, but I don't want to use it! Any ideas? Appreciate the help in advance.

It's easy and safe t do with e.g. Fast Editor, but if you don't want to I guess there's not much that can be done

You can't change it without an editor. There are no codes or something you can use for more money.

What do you mean? That link isn't a download for Patch 1.0.4.4 but it's a fix for Patch 1.0.4.4.

I guess you rather did not wear your head...
Just joking, it was stupid from Cyanide to release a faulty patch and/or to not release a working patch afterwards.
Because the patch will automatically install when connected to the internet, so normal people will never be aware of that "fix". |

Morning all, after reading alot of topics about in game crashes, I can't find a solution to mine! In 3d mode it crashes ie. game freezes and only a switch off computer will help, no ctd, no bsod. It sounds like a sound card issue as it spits a couple of times first then freezes?? All drivers up to date on Win7 home! Love this game but I can't play and it's now driving me nuts! Please help? |

If the computer totally freezes, meaning you cannot even go to the task manager by pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE, then I would rather look at the graphic card.
First make sure that your drivers are up to date but then you have to monitor the temperature of your graphics card. If the game overheats the GPU, then it might freeze.
But if you think it is the sound card, then you could just unmount or uninstall. Like this you could check if the problem is really coming from it.
If you don't know how to do the things I suggested, then google should provide information about it. |

Thanks for your help, it's just so annoying that I can't hit the 3 keys to go back. Graphics card is new, so I don't think it's that, I only say it might be the card as it stutters before it freezes with an overlap sound Brrrrrrrrrr!!

If the graphics card is new, and the problem never occurred before, then it would be a good indication. Try other games to see if there is a general problem. You could also run a benchmarking software, because benchmark runs will make the graphic chip work hard. If you get frequent crashes there also, you should return the graphics card. |
