Since we have some English members in here i decided to make this thread. Why comment the international football in the "Favorite Team" thread??
And the first comment is: Gerard replaced by Lucas Leiva
15 minutes to go and 1-1 between Everton and Liverpool (the big Derby)

Everton 1-2 Liverpool (finished)
Phil Neville sent off, after thinking he was the goalkeeper

well, the title race is certainly hotting up now. Arsenal were lucky Bendtner rescued a point for them today. My moneys on Arsenal fluffing it now, but it'll surely go down to the wire! |

It's only natural that Arsenal slip on the final stretch of the season... It's what they do every single time...

They are pretty crap. I always liked Fulham, but Al Fayed is letting everything hes built slip away. You can't expect Premier League survival when you sell your best players...and dont win away from home! |

Its not even like they win at home anymore
They have one or two quality players, McBride and Bullard. Dempsey and Davies are decent. The new signings Andreasson and Hangeland look decent. The rest are completely useless! especially Chris Baird and David Healy!

They've really taken a step down since Coleman left, too. I know he was struggling to get an away win, but at least they were pretty good at home. I can understand why they let Saha go (the money), but I can't understand the signing of Litmanan...

I think Litmanen is there to provide some extra experience to help McBride. But he doesn't keep Premier League quality, he was benched in Malmö FF |

I bet he tells a good story though. What a career hes had! Well, theres more Premier League action tomorrow...heres the fixture card:
Saturday, 08 March 2008
Blackburn v Fulham, 15:00
Liverpool v Newcastle, 15:00
Reading v Man City, 15:00
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sunday, 09 March 2008
Sunderland v Everton, 15:00
Tottenham v West Ham, 15:00
Wigan v Arsenal, 16:00
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wednesday, 12 March 2008
Aston Villa v Middlesbrough, 19:45
Chelsea v Derby, 20:00
Portsmouth v Birmingham, 19:45
I included Wednesdays fixtures as well, incase you wondered where a few teams had gone. I hope Liverpool v Newcastle will be a good game, I can't see Newcastle winning it though, they've had awful luck with injurys and the 'Kevin Keegan factor' has really backfired!
I think fans of football should pay attention to this weekends games...I'm planning on a quiz to be released on Sunday night or maybe Monday if I run out of time. I'll think of prizes for it too. |

OK, yes I'm biased, but Mark Riley is one of the most shocking referees I have ever seen. At least Fulham played well for a change .

Mark Riley should be ashamed of himself. Simply terrible game for him, he swung the game in favor of Blackburn. Is it the Anti-American bias? I don't know, but he's horrible. |
