Just post below which team you want. If you are first you get them, if not try again. Please dont make any team HQ's. When we are done your selection post will become your team HQ (At least for now)
Transfers
Spoiler
When all the teams have been filled (or as many after a period of time) a transfer period will open. You pm other managers about riders you want and negotiate there. When a deal is confirmed you will post it in the transfer thread (will be made when period opens). More information to follow when transfer period opens.
Calendar
All WT teams will have to race all the WT events. That is the full WT calendar from the TDU to Beijing.
All CT teams will have to race all the CT events. That is a calendar i will decide, with a mix of various non-wt races and one GT.
There is a 50 day limit for riders. WT

Promotion
Clearly there are two divisions. WT and CT. Each race will give a team points. The lowest scoring two WT teams will be relegated, and the highest scoring CT teams will be promoted.
Also the poorest WT team (after the points relegation) will be relegated and the richest CT team (after the points promotion) will be promoted. Money can be earned from results.
(i will post points and money systems later)
Nationals + Worlds
Spoiler
Nationals are simple. If there is a playable one in game, i will run it and the winners will be the NC's. For those nations without a playable NC then the highest ranked rider will be RR champ, and the "average" highest in TT's will be the TT champ.
The World Champion. At the end of the season, using a combination of results, rankings, surprises i will nominate 3-5 riders. Anyone can then vote for WC. The winner will be the RR WC. The ITT winner will be the "average" highest in TT's
Points
Teams will earn points based on results. Riders will earn points based on results. The points for teams and riders will be the same. WT

The points are different for WT and CT. The WT points are spread fairly evenly. For the CT the grand tour is worth 3x the points of a normal tour. A rider from either level could win overall.
Money
Money is used to buy riders in the transfer periods. WT teams will have a larger budget then CT teams. Money can be earned through results. I will implement a system of stat increasing using money at some point. The money earning will be the same as in TCS, i will post them here later.

Earlier today Contador announced that he would be ready for his 3rd Giro triumph, and also said ''Im not gonna quit without having won atleast 7 tours''
Of course it's a shame that Thomas De Gendt left, but we got good replacements for him. The team got better in the cobbled classics, the sprints and we maintained the same quality in the GC's.
Team Leaders
Rigoberto Urán Obviously he's for the GT's and other mountainous and hilly races. Steven KruiswijkSince Urán will not ride every mountain races, we've bought a stand-in. That's Steven Lars Boom He will lead in the cobbles classics, and he's a good TT-er too, so he might join us in one GT. Andrea Guardini This one is for the sprints. As he is within the Top 10 of best world's sprinters, he's very welcome in this team...
Protected Riders
Lieuwe Westra Pretty allround, but mainly a TT-er... He's also pretty good in Hills and he's a good fighter... Might gets a leader role in smaller hilly stage races... Johnny Hoogerland Fan's favorite, especially since 10 July 2011... Good hilly rider and climber, great fighter and decent on cobbles... Beñat Intxausti Great domestique... His abilities are close to Steven's... So he will get a leader role in smaller races, and if he develops well he might be one of the 2 GC threats of one of the GT's. He might be one of our leaders next season... Juan Jose Haedo He's a valuable sprinter, and if Guardini needs a leadout, he's the best... He's also very good downhill... Björn Leukemans Except Boom he's the best cobbler in the team... He's also very good uphill Jean-Christopher Peraud A time-trialist... He's also a very good domestique, so we will use him in at least 1 GT. Mathieu Ladagnous Also a really good cobbler... He just hasn't got the hill quality of Leukemans... But, Ladagnous got a sprint. Gerald Ciolek Another good sprinter, but the difference is that he's good uphill.
Luxury Team Mates
Tom-Jelte Slagter He's a really talented climber. But he deserves a bigger role than just the role of 'Talent'. David Zabriskie Good TT-er... He also got a decent climbing ability... He's just getting old and started declining... Miquel Rubiano He's a good climber and hilly rider. He will be a domestique in a GT, that's for sure... Michael Morkov Of course this rider is quite famous. But his quality is lacking to much to win races. He will mainly get into breakaways... Maarten Wynants Another good cobbler with a good hill ability. Sergio Ribeiro He's a sprinter and he's also a decent climber... So he's mainly for the small stage races, where he might even finish in the lead group in a mountain stage, and takes the win... Mauro Finetto Another hilly sprinter, but this one is without a climbing ability. Marco Mercato A good rider, but he is maybe too allround, that means, he gots no clear speciality, he's capable of doing anything, but just at a decent level. Samuel Dumoulin A good fighter and uphill sprinter
Young Talents
Barry Markus A good sprinter, but got enough time to develop. Lluis Mas Isn't that good at this moment, but was bought for a bargain, and has time enough... Rafael Valls A good climber, even though he's very young... Might join a GT as domestique.
Team Mates
Markus Fothen A decent stage racer, but not much more than that. Gediminias Bagdonas Same story as Mercato, just not as popular, a worse cobbler and a better TT-er... Michael Morkov Of course this rider is quite famous. But his quality is lacking to much to be a Protected Rider. He will mainly get into breakaways... Luis Filipe Laverde A decent climber, but nothing more than that... Is really bad on the flat, so used just as a domestique... Tom Stamsnijder A talented Time-trialist and good fighter from Argos
Team Roster
Vacansoleil Rider of the Month
January - There are only two riders who are able to win this one, Westra & Morkov. But since Westra didn't finish in the top 10 of the GC(even though he finished top 10 two times. Michael Morkov takes it, because of showing the Vacansoleil jersey in breakaways, and grabbing the points jersey for some days. February - There is a break in February, we have no races. But Tom-Jelte Slagter did really well in the training, so he's the rider of the month. March April May June July August September October November December
Vacansoleil Flop of the month
January - Juan José Haedo was the dissapointment of the Tour Down Under. He was among the 5 best sprinters, on paper, but he didn't even manage to get a top 10. February - None March April May June July August September October November December

Startlist Santos Tour Down Under - Vacansoleil-DCM
This is our startlist for the Tour Down Under... We're aiming for a stage top 3 and maybe We'il have a shot at the GC.
Team Leader
Lieuwe Westra - Basically the best hilly rider of the team here in Australia... If things go bad, Hoogerland takes over the leaders role.
Sprinters
Juan José Haedo - He's for the flat sprints Samuel Dumoulin - He's for the uphill sprint, and serves as leadout in the flat sprints...
Free Element
Johnny Hoogerland Also one who's going for the GC. He might go into the (late) breakaways if he loses too much time... He will also aim for the Willunga Hill stage win(stage 5)
Team Mates
Michael Morkov Tries to get into breakaways, and might have a role in the uphill stage 2(sprint) Gediminias Bagdonas Is most likely a helper of Dumoulin in uphill sprints, and will assistance Westra where necassary. Lluis Guillermo Mas This young talent is mainly here for the experience, and he will most likely be our water bottles man...
Review Santos Tour Down Under
Vacansoleil was really bad. Our sprinter Haedo didn't even manage to get a top 10 finish. Morkov and Westra did have decent results. Morkov took the points jersey, and hold it for 2 days, and Westra got 2 top 10 finishes... But still, he finished outside the top 10 of the GC. We can call this stage race a flop for Vacansoleil.
