So for some of the new managers who may not know, and some of the old ones who forgot/never knew, for several months last season we had a huge amount of discussion on twitter, with about 30 teams all signed up and discussing races. There were sometimes live race reports on there that would occur as the reporters were writing the reports, which created a lot of fun and excitement. There was also a lot of friendly banter during races.
It sort of died off for a lot of people as the season wore on, though some have kept it alive. This season I would like to turn it into something big, and so I will be live tweeting a lot of my races as I write them this season. But this can't succeed without the participationg of you, the managers. Some are already signed up, but it would be great to see more people on there participating in the talks. Particularly now that we can post things straight from twitter using the [twitter ] tags. If you need help with any aspect of the site, let us know and someone will be able to help you.

Actually I was thinking about this over the last weeks and I indeed planned to make these live-twitter-reports in the next season for some races as well.
I really enjoyed it the last year although it was just for the first races. Still the standard report would be done afterwards but for all managers that want to follow on twitter as well, it`s a nice addition. |

So what do people think the odds should be that more than, say, three managers will be regularly tweeting come the mid-point of the season.

Perhaps it is a step too far, but for the moment, it's just a nice, easy way to communicate in a manner that doesn't clutter up the forums with unnecessary banter.
Peoples' reluctance to join is understandable, though, I must admit

I have no negative opinion about the man-gameI may have misconstructed the sentence there a bit SN... Its a great Idea and fun to be part of!
I ment starting a debate about copyright infringements, not about the man-game!

Again.. if you don't like some ways of communication between the managers, why comment? A bit too negative in my opinion, but maybe that's just my opinion, right?

People just need to be clear in the description page of their Twitter account, thats all.
If youre at all aware of Twitter, you will now that there are loads of fake/parody accounts for all sorts of celebrities or brands.
