After a mixed 2012 season, Trilux and Falke decided to end their sponsorship. Luckly, manager Felix_29 found new main sponsors, which are:
Sram
Riboxx
and new minor sponsors:
Alchemy Bicyle CO.
Enve Composites
Giro
Castelli
Thus, the German focus changes to a American-German one. But with internationally active sponsors like Sram, Giro and Castelli riders from all over the world can be part of the 2013 squad. "We´d even go so far to battle for Japanese riders", the manager is quoted. "But seriously, it´s no secret that we´ll aim for American riders first, especially for some of the amazing talents. Then, there are some strong Germans we´ll try to sign."
The jersey
Design by Laidbackmarc, so i acutally don´t have to add that it looks fantastic. Again thanks to him for the work he put into it, and to all other designers who help to create the great looking MG-peloton.
And the Portuguese NC jersey:

2012 Highlights
Of course, THE highlight was the absolute dominance in the Rund um den Eschborn-Frankfurt classic, where Wegmann, Kessler and Haussler finished 1st, 2nd and 5th.
The team´s first ever win by Fabian Wegmann in New Zealand:
Heinrich Haussler winning more races than expected, here with a huge gap to the 2nd-placed rider:
There are of course more victories, e.g. by Kessler in the Tour of Turkey and some huge disappointments in the Criterium Hainleite and in the Berlin Pro Race. All in all, a satisfying first season, finished 16th overall where experts expected Trilux.

You can check out the final version of the shirt plus the NC version for Sousa in the first post. Matching equipment will come later, once the team manager himself finds some spare time to design it.

15 riders have renewed their contracts while 11 riders weren't offered/ didn't agree on contracts. See the full list in the updated first post. Basically, only Haussler has a safe spot for 2013, all other are up for deals.
Leaving, amongst others, are Kessler, Coyot, Saramotins and Rast. Have fun to bid on them during the actual transfer season.

Best-paid rider in the new season will be Linus Gerdemann who replaces Matthias Kessler. Gerdemann was seen with a gynecologist recently, so expect him to be stronger than ever in 2013.
Luka Mezgec will be the fastet man in the team. With sprinter like Napolitano and Cavendish in the PCT we'll see interesting finishes for sure.
Further three Germans join, as well as four American riders. Unfortunately, without an American leader, which will be "fixed" after the 2013 season.
In addition to those rider who weren't offered/didn't accept new contracts, three riders will leave the team:
Gert Rajala, the Estonian champ, joined AirBaltic-Endura in return for Chad Beyer. Phillip Walsleben and Markus Fahnert are loaned out to PT teams (Vesuvio/Project 1t4i) to finish their development.
Linus Gerdemann
Luka Mezgec
Lawrence Warbasse
Eric Young
Michel Koch
Yuriy Vasyliv
Thomas Bontenackels
Chad Beyer
Jessy Anthony

The calendar has been updated and the roster will follow soon. Haussler and Wegmann will lead the team in Australia to grab the first win early in the season while Gerdemann will ride the Tour de San Luis to get in shape for the first goal, the Thuringen Rundfahrt just a week later.

Sram - Riboxx leads PCT ranking
The season has started and Heinrich Haussler is already in a great shape. He finished 8th in the season opener, the pan-flat Down Under Classic. "I didn't have my best day and it was too flat. Some hills and i can beat anyone who was faster than me today." Haussler was quoted after the race.
1 | André Greipel | Team WWE | 1h46'59 | 2 | Danilo Napolitano | Evian-MIAT | s.t. | 3 | Allan Davis | Hollister Pro Cycling | s.t. | 4 | Anuar Manan | Meiji - Cannondale | s.t. | 5 | Maxime Vantomme | Rothaus - Aegon | s.t. | 6 | Tomas Vaitkus | airBaltic - Endura | s.t. | 7 | Hans Dekkers | Allianz-BMW Cycling Team | s.t. | 8 | Heinrich Haussler | Sram-Riboxx Cycling Team | s.t. | 9 | Mark Cavendish | airBaltic - Endura | s.t. | 10 | Matt Rowe | airBaltic - Endura | s.t. |
The next race was the Tour down Under. Stage one was one by UBI's Gavazzi who surprised Sram's train with an early sprint. The following stage was won by the strongest puncher, Efimkin (Cisco), who beat the eventual winner Dowsett (Jaguar). Jiri Hudecek missed the podium, but still delievered a strong performance as 4th.
Stage 3 was the next possibility for Haussler, who got great support and took an easy win:
Keisse leads out Haussler
First win in 2013!
Whoever expected Sram to work hard the next day was wrong. No problem, though, as Haussler dominated the sprint without any help by his teammates.
Next up was the decisive stage up the famous Old Willunga Hill. Timothy Duggan launched an attack in the final kilometers but was caught anf finished 8th. Wegmann once again didn't have the legs and ended up on a disappointing 19th place.
Haussler wanted to take his 3rd win on the final stage but AirBaltic-rider Mitch Docker was the stronger and avoided a desaster for the Australians.
All in all, a rather successful race, as Haussler won the Points classification, Wegmann moved into 9th and Sram - Riboxx won the teams classification.
Final GC:
1 | Alex Dowsett | Jaguar - Eritel | 18h50'29 | 2 | Aleksandr Efimkin | Cisco Cycling Team | s.t. | 3 | Francesco Gavazzi | Team UPC - Boehringer-Ingelheim | + 12 | 4 | Rui Costa | Team CSC-Orbea | + 16 | 5 | Romain Zingle | Team BPost | + 28 | 6 | Ben Hermans | Swedbank-PEAB | + 32 | 7 | Dietmar Mehr-Wenige | Adira-Isq Project | s.t. | 8 | Yusuke Hatanaka | Meiji - Cannondale | s.t. | 9 | Fabian Wegmann | Sram-Riboxx Cycling Team | s.t. | 10 | Simon Gerrans | Oz Cycling Project | s.t. |
Division Ranking after three races:
1 | Sram - Riboxx | PCT | 223 | 2 | Jaguar - Eritel | PCT | 184 | 3 | Hollister Pro Cycling | PCT | 177 | 4 | Team UPC - Boehringer-Ingelheim | PCT | 166 | 5 | AirBaltic - Endura | PCT | 160 | 6 | Team WWE | PCT | 157 | 7 | Cisco Cycling Team | PCT | 145 | 8 | Meiji - Cannondale | PCT | 123 | 9 | Team CSC-Orbea | PCT | 109 | 10 | Evian-MIAT | PCT | 104 |
1 | Dowsett | Alex | GBR | Jaguar - Eritel | PCT | 171 | 2 | Greipel | André | GER | Team WWE | PCT | 140 | 3 | Efimkin | Aleksandr | RUS | Cisco Cycling Team | PCT | 135 | 4 | Haussler | Heinrich | GER | Sram - Riboxx | PCT | 135 | 5 | Davis | Allan | AUS | Hollister Pro Cycling | PCT | 127 | 6 | Gavazzi | Francesco | ITA | Team UPC - Boehringer-Ingelheim | PCT | 127 | 7 | Napolitano | Danilo | ITA | Evian-MIAT | PCT | 98 | 8 | Mehr-Wenige | Dietmar | GER | Adira Isq-Project | CT | 77 | 9 | Costa | Rui | POR | Team CSC-Orbea | PCT | 71 | 10 | Manan | Anuar | MAS | Meiji - Cannondale | PCT | 70 |
Next race is the Tour de San Luis. Linus Gerdemann is looking for a good result in the GC and gets support by Jiri Hudecek who hopefully recovers from the jetlag quickly. Luka Mezgec will be one of the fastest sprinters around and with the support of Steven Tronet and Gatis Smukulis he might get a stage win.
Gerdemann and Mezgec will also lead Sram in the Thuringen Rundfahrt, first goal of the new season. The other riders will be Smukulis, Bontenackels, Duggan, Hudecek and Devenyns. That should be a decent support in the hard stages and enough to limit time losses in the TTT.

Great start to the seaon for your team, congrats, Haussler was great Down Under.
See you in both San Luis and Thuringer Rundfahrt, my leader for both races Popkov is a level worse than Gerdemann, but we will caught you by surprise!
Shame my sprinter will have to face Mezgec, i will throw Vasylyuk in Argentina and Hoffman in Germany against him.

Nice lead at the moment. Your team scored quite a lot in the TdU due to Haussler and three decent GC guys. Definitely a good start into the season.
Will be nice to see what Gerdemann can do in Thüringen. Even though I hope less than Boom and Geschke with National bonus. |

Update: i decided to quit after this season as there are many members who deserve this spot more than i do plus i think it's unfair to those who put a lot of time into this (especially SN).
Thanks for the fun time i had and good luck in the rest of the season.

Too bad you're leaving. But it's nice to see that you let people know instead of just disappearing.
Also, if you can find the time, perhaps you could do a "report" on "why" the team won't continue next season and stuff like that. To wrap things up perfectly
