In Russia, where Trofimov, Efimkin and Ignatiev are favourites. Tinkoff with 20 riders, and Gazprom with 9, will surely try and avoid the break coming back.
Tinkoff spend a long time pulling back breakaways, trying to find one which suits them, and then when they finally let one go it has 9 riders, with just one Tinkoff: Silin, Porsev, Vorganov, Medvedev, Efimkin, Kritskiy, Serebriakov, Vorontsov and Ajewole.
Gusev adds some serious firepower to the breakaway.
Tinkoff have been rolling through on the front all day, but with 3 laps to go the gap is up to ten minutes, Efimkin has clearly told them he is feeling strong.
2 laps to go and the break are still all together
Serebriakov sits at the back the whole of the penultimate climb. If he can get over it one more time then the race is his.
Onto the final climb, and Vorontsov immediately gives up the ghost.
Serebriakov is also slipping now, while Vorontsov is trying to get back on.
The other eight all go over the top together. It now comes down to the sprint.
The downhill allows Vorontsov to join back on.
Porsev is the best sprinter, so he is being forced to lead out.
Porsev starts the sprint
Kritskiy and Efimkin both make their moves at the same time.
Vorganov and Gusev now make a move, while Silin is still waiting.
Vorganov is following Kritskiy
He's coming along side
And a burst of acceleration gives Vorganov the win.
