Following their recent success as the official treat provider to the London Olympic Games, Cadburys have decided to take one step further into the world of sport as the main sponsor to a brand new Continental Cycling team.
With their aim to one day represent the entire British Commonwealth, within one team, The leaders of Cadburys-Schweppes have decided to dedicate their team solely to British and New Zealand riders for their debut season, with New Zealand based sports clothing company, Canterbury and British Cycling manufacturers Boardman providing the equipment for this promising young team.

Thanks Dubbel, I figured I would have a crack at making one myself and ended up creating this. Something tells me I shouldnt have many issues clashing with other team colours. |

I wish I could create a jersey like that. I too decided that I would give it a shot at producing my own jersey, and it's pretty bland and boring. If I had any artistic talents at all I would have dragons and samurai and stuff, but I have two flags and some sponsors logos, with the tiniest amount of blue and red. I really should try to keep it simple though.
Anyway, nice jersey, and good luck!

Thanks Avin, I think I will need it!
I think simple Jerseys look the best anyway DaBob. My favourite Jersey at the minute is Europcars and thats just because of the colour more then anything else, I think yours will stand out quite well in a busy peleton! Thanks and good luck to you also! |

The only reason mine will stand out is because it is predominantly white; a colour that doesn't seem to be too prevalent.
Any riders caught your fancy yet?

That is a good thing though isnt it? You will be easier to spot in the screenshots! I havent tried my Jersey in game yet, I'm hoping its not too awful
Ive had a look at some of the free agents in NZL and GBR and Ive already got a kind of shortlist of riders I want to bring in but I think im going to have some stiff competition for most of them, especially Michael Torckler but im willing to splash the cash to land him.
New Zealand isnt looking as busy as the Asian transfer market will be this season I imagine? |

You never know
I do agree with the others about the jersey, I somehow like it as well. Welcome to the ManGame and good luck for your first season. Greetings from Australia!

As for Bennett, I don't think that will happen But there are some other Kiwis on our team, who may listen to offers from a team like yours. Anyway, I guess we'll meet us in transfer-season.

Well, I would like to have at least some riders from New Zealand, maybe because it is second nationality of my team.

Don't worry, I want only a couple of riders or so. I can't have a team of 40 riders or something like that.

I only have a few targets in mind so hopefully we can both get what we want! I can help you make the team smaller by taking Sam Bewley off your hands |

Interesting idea if nothing else, but seriously I recommend you to take somebody who will have more racedays in CT, as Bewley's racedays are going to be not so high number in PT as well..

I doubt I will see the likes of Bewley down here in CT2 but Im hoping I can grab a few half decent sprinters to pick up the points, It will be an interesting season regardless, I just cant wait to get started, good luck in the big leagues Roman! |

For the record, its just CT - not CT2
Nice to see interest in New Zealand though.
