East Asian Championships
mb2612
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nation01.jpg
The East Asian championships are here. China, Hong Kong, Mongolia, Malaysia, Indonesia and South Korea.

Lets go through the countries:

Indonesia:
Samai

China:
Li
C. Ji
Wei
J. Ji
Shikai

Mongolia:
Tuulhangai

Malaysia:
Manan
Awang
Rosdi
Haidar Anaumwar
Othman

Hong Kong:
Tang
Kwok
Cheung
Wu

South Korea:
Park

So, Park, Tuulhangai and Samai already have their championships sown up. J. Ji should be able to make it hard enough on the last hill to win the chinese champs, In Hong Kong, Tang is probably favourite. Othman is the strongest from Malaysia.

Haidar Anuawar, Rosdi, Li and Wei form our break today.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nation03.jpg

Oz and Meji are the only teams with multiple riders, and with both of them represented in the break the gap quickly grows to 11 minutes with 65km left.

We start the climb for the final time with Li vs Wei for China, and Haidar Anuawar vs Rosdi for Malaysia. All the Hong Kong riders are in the peloton.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nation04.jpg

They go over the top together. Wei is the best climber of the 4 with just 60 Hill, so it's not surprising no one went for it. Li and Haidar Anuawar are the better sprinters.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nation05.jpg

Wu, Tang and J.Ji attack clear of the peloton.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nation06.jpg

Tang puts in a massive effort to try and drop Wu, putting himself in pole position to win the HK jersey, J.Ji is with him.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nation08.jpg

Over the top Tang has dropped Ji as well.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nation10.jpg

Wei is forced to lead out the sprint
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nation11.jpg

Li makes a move from third place
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nation12.jpg

and takes the lead, surely winning himself the Chinese jersey, Haidar Anuwar looks better placed for Malaysia
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nation13.jpg

Rosdi is coming at him.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nation15.jpg

And Rosdi accelerates clear, winning the whole race, and becoming Malaysian champion. Li gets the Chinese Championships with his second place.

Hard work on the descent allows Wu and Ji to join Tang.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nation17.jpg

All three start to sprint
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nation18.jpg

Tang initially looks the strongest.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nation19.jpg

And is the strongest, holding on to take an excellent victory.

The TT now

Cheung goes 2nd 2 seconds slower than Shikai, although obviously they are not directly competing
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nation21.jpg

Awang gets the same time as Shikai, meaning the Malaysian championships is his.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nation22.jpg

Li goes seven seconds faster, meaning he will be a double champion next year.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nation23.jpg

Kwok is comfortably quickest, giving himself the Hong Kong champs.
