So, the Colombia course, looks like a pretty standard circuit for 210km, then they turn off, and go insane, climbing a mountain. Uran, Henao and Duarte are favourites.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats088.jpg

At the start the riders can see the turn that takes them up to the finish, but we have plenty of flat km before we get there.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats089.jpg

9 riders form our early break: Quintana, Agudelo, Betancourt, Sarmiento, Diaz Corrales, Pantano Gomez, Baez, Anacona and Atapuma. Uran is clearly happy to let this go, while Henao is going to force Forero to do loads of work to pull this back.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats090.jpg

Which Forero manages to do.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats091.jpg

Forero pulls back break 2 as well.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats092.jpg

Break three manages to get over 2 minutes: Atapuma, Anacona, Restrepo, Zambrano, Baez, Sarmiento, Ospina, Quintana, Pantano Gomez, Diaz Corrales and Betancourt. Again Forrero is controlling tha gap.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats093.jpg

Forero is a beast, after 50km of solid chasing, we are all together again.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats094.jpg

6 riders ping off the front now: Baez, Restrepo, Anacona, Diaz Corrales, Duque and Montoya. However Betancourt is now chasing in the peloton.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats095.jpg

So they get pulled back as well.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats096.jpg

Agudelo and Atapuma are now clear. Will the two men be allowed a gap?
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats097.jpg

Zambrano joins them.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats098.jpg

But the two D2 riders are too much of a threat to Uran, so Betancourt shuts them down. Now Baez attacks
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats099.jpg

Sarmiento and Agudelo join him
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats101.jpg

and again they are chased down.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats102.jpg

Even with no one off the front, Betancourt keeps pushing on the front, the peloton strung out behind him.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats103.jpg

His pace account for Forero, forcing Henao to fetch his own water.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats104.jpg

30km to go, and Betancourt finally drops off the front, although it's just to get water.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats105.jpg

Pedraza and Suaza attack with 17km left.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats106.jpg

Serpa follows.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats107.jpg

As does Henao, this could be the move, even before the climb.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats108.jpg

The four riders are together as we leave the circuit
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats109.jpg

Betancourt pulls them back.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats110.jpg

Suaza, Serpa, Duarte and Pedraza all attack.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats111.jpg

As the gap grows, Henao Montoya has no choice but to attack.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats112.jpg

Uran follows
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats113.jpg

Up front Pedraza has built a 42 second lead.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats114.jpg

Uran and Henao catch the chasers, but Pedraza is pushing his lead past the minute mark.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats115.jpg

Serpa and Duarte are forced to try and attack.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats116.jpg

Henao and Uran respond, but Serpa looks strong.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats117.jpg

Uran grinds Serpa back, Suaza has completely blown.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats118.jpg

3km to go, and Uran now tries to catch Pedraza.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats119.jpg

The gap is closing, but the road is so steep. Now just 2km to go.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats120.jpg

Pedraza is hanging tough, while Uran does all he can to close the gap.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats121.jpg

And Pedraza hangs on to take an excellent victory ahead of Uran.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats122.jpg

Serpa beat Henao to third.

Like the road race, Uran, Duarte and henao are the favourites for the TT.

When Henao comes through the line Ardila is leading with 1h08'43". Henao falls 13 seconds short, in third. Parra Busamante is currently second
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats124.jpg

Serpa beats Henao, to come in at +10"
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats125.jpg

Rincon is 5th at +16"
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats126.jpg

Pedraza is clearly in good form, as he goes first by ten seconds
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats127.jpg

Agudelo beats him by 5 more.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats128.jpg

Suaza goes 1 second better.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats129.jpg

Duarte then crushes everyone by 45 seconds
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats130.jpg

But Uran is the last man left, and by 11 seconds, he retains his Colombian title.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Nat%20Champs/Nats131.jpg

Sorry, no exports. so the result is as follows:
