Hello! My name is Dag Jensen and i'm the leader of Movistar's cobbled section.
My main goal this year is to get a top 10 in Paris - Roubaix.
I would also like to be top 5 in the Ronde.
I'm also aiming for the WC since it's held in Roubaix
However i really hope i can get a proffesional contract with Movistar since the manager has been so supportive towards me .
Let's hope it will be a great season for Movistar and the riders.
Take care
Dag

Halluu! Mui naime is Per Lögdahl. I'm also under contract with Movistar and also have the same agent as Dag Jensen. I would say i'm a fighter and i love being in a breakaway. I hope to ride the Milan-San Remo, The tour and when the giro is going i would like to ride Bayern Rundfahrt because it's a smaller race and I might fight in the GC. But one of my main goals this season is the WC TT since it should fit me very good. I'm hoping for a top three but top five is okay as well.
Take care
Per |

Hi, I'm Aussie Len Lye, an 18-year old cyclist. I grew up in Belgium and was quite successful in cyclo-cross. This year I'm concentrating on the road 100% and I hope to develop well inside Movistar! My main strength is getting over hills, since that's practically what we do all the time in a cyclo-cross. |

Profile: Name: David Denderson | Age: 19 | Nationality: Norway | Type: Stageracer | Favourite: Tour de Helvetia |
Meet the rider!
David started racing his first race as a 12 yo. kid.
It was a short prouloge and you should almost think that he had
trained for that race his whole life because of his stunning performance
without even having a real racing bike! Hi climbed the prolouge
on a gear only Cadel Evans could match! And beated his opponents
by over a minute, even though they had full equipment + a real racing bike to.
After that race he bought a real road racing bike and joined his local bikeclub only to become an animal on the road just after a few races of real training,
so that prolouge literally changed his life!
But as most extremly talented riders it stood still quite a few years before
he finally got contacted by Movistar during a training camp in the swiss alps.

Well as the title says my legs hurt as hell. The race was one of that boring flat kind and it wasn't much to watch on TV. But it was quite fun to be there since this was my first professional race and i enjoyed every minute of it except the finish.
I got the order from Juan to attack. At the time Argos were controlling the peleton to set it up for Kittel. I attacked a few times to try if it was possible but they wouldn't let me and three others go! And so I launched a HUGE attackand the finally i got clear with five others.
At the first intermediate sprint we sprinted for 6, 4 and 2 points. I got clear of the others and won it. Since i'm not that good uphill I let the others sprint for the KOM but I did hang on the wheel of Anthony Delaplace and got eight points at that.
During the second intermediate sprint I was in very bad position and only managed to salvage four points but that did mean that i would be riding in the sprinters jersey tomorrow.
After a while we were caught by the pack with Argos - Shimano still pulling hard. I don't believe how they did it. I felt i couldn't keep up with the tempo so i dropped back to our service car to talk a little with Juan.
But when I started to go up to the pack I felt like my legs were fold beneath me.
I never made it up to the pack again and finished two minutes behind. But i will be wearing the nice green jersey tomorrow so I can still look back on a successful day . I didn't see the sprint but I heard that Adrian Hanzen won. Congratiulations to him. |

Words from manager:
I have to say that I am really happy with the result. I got a phone call from my boss and he said that he was really pleased with outcome of the race. Specificlly with Dag´s presence in BOD. And last but not least with great 5th place by Len Lye. I hope you will be able to do even better in upcoming stages. |

A hard day in the saddle - Len Lye
Today was the second race of Tour Down Under and again I finished inside the top 10. Yesterday I chose my wheel for the sprint well and got dragged into the really fast mass sprint, with a great result for me. Today I earned it myself.
The day was fairly calm until Cunego attacked. It was the start of many attacks, including a strong punch from me and Pye. We seem to get along well, but on the road we are rivals. I tried to shake them all but was unsuccessful. Many attacks followed and it was hard keeping up with the excruciating pace that was constantly upping. In the final sprint, I gave it 100% and I managed to come in fourth, a brilliant results, considering this is only my fourth professional race. I'm very happy, and I expect to continue to do well here in Australia. The country suits me, and I think my results show that.
I haven't had a chance to talk to the manager yet (those bloody reporters), but I know he's just thrilled about the team right now. We couldn't have asked for a better start, I think. There is still one hilly stage coming up and I will try everything to take my first victory there!
So to sum things up, it was a hard day in the saddle, but in the end, isn't that why we're all here? |
