Lars Boom had a good 2012 season and as World Champion he will be also our team leader in 2013. We want to form a stronger squad around him. So any offers on him must be extremely well if they want to be even considered.
It`s no secret that Maxime Vantomme really disappointed last season. No single stage win for one of the most paid riders in the peloton. He has two options. Looking for another team or going far down with his salary expectations. Rumors already link him to other teams.
Climbing wise we are pretty happy with Ruigh and Hesjedal. Both had good results in 2012 and are supposed to stay with the team. The Canadian is an important part with all his experience although he seems to be a bit weaker than last season.
Sprinting wise we have some excellent riders. Cucinotta and Van Heerden convinced in most races and might be part of the team in 2013 as well. Baumann and Gajek never really showed anything, so their future is not secured yet. Iglinski had some bad luck in many races but proved his strength with the win in Barcelona and a solid 2nd in the Nationals. So he has something in his hand to ask for a new contract. All 5 have chances to stay but could also leave when it comes to trading time.
Domestique wise we have some excellent riders like Velits, Kunitski, Passeron or Voss. All of them are supposed to stay as they performed on a pretty good level in the last season.
Koep, Ariesen and Krieger made a good step forward and are supposed to improve in a PT team on a loan deal to make another step.
Westphal delivered our team the first ever stage win. But due to planning issues he had not many chances to prove his strength. Still he is considered to stay with us to give him more chances next season. Schachmann, Scheit and Schoch are still young and it`s quite likely that they get more chances next season.
Turek and Schiewer were our stagiares but their only appearance was in Avenir. So the decision is not made yet. Same for Willems, Blank and Von Kleinsorgen, who performed on a good level but could be replaced by younger and more talented riders.

What is missing the most in our team is a good puncheur and stage racer in mountaineous races. This is what we want to add for the next season to be stronger than in our debut season.
