They're back.
2012 was a momentous year for Pendleton's; the step up to the ProTour was made and with some panache. Their manager muted his expectations at the beginning of the year but managed to more than satisfy the sponsors with some fantastic results and a brilliant 7th place in the overall rankings.
Highlights included:
Sebastien Duret's Tour de France KOM Title
Phillipe Gilbert's dominant sprint up the Cauberg to take Amstel Gold
Dave Zabriskie's Vuelta a Murcia GC Victory
There were also many other notable performances including Sebastien Duret's back-to-back stage wins in Ireland, Konstantin Sivtsov's epic solo breakaway and 2nd on GC in the Dauphine and multiple other stage wins and high GC placings.
It's now time to look to 2013, a chance to consolidate and improve, in order to take our place as rightful leaders of the ProTour. Some riders will be leaving and some will be coming in to take their places. The transfer season awaits and Pendleton's are ready.

Would need a good deal
Konstantin Siutsou
Jianhua Ji
Mathieu Ladagnous

Francis Mourey
Tom Copeland
Likely to leave (pre- or post-renewals)
David Zabriskie
Denis Menchov
Steven Cummings
Sebastien Duret

As you can see, there is no rider that we wouldn't part with so never be afraid to propose a deal. Also, if you wish to prevent one of the final group from going onto the free agents market and thus ending up taking more precious salary cap space through a bidding war, post on here and I'll resign them so we can make a trade during the transfer season.

New Jersey for 2013
Last year the manager's sexuality was questioned after his requested jersey design had a colour scheme that would fit in at a gay pride march. Other reports place him at many gay pride marches and some other, seedier events. Nevertheless, this season sees a classier approach to the jersey, with legendary designer Will007 still on board. It still stays true to the company's colour scheme but is more muted and...well, it's basically a work of art. Without further ado:

(I know you dont have this all set up yet, but....)
There are reports that Jianhua Ji would like to be racing as a leader next season, and see's Meiji as a perfect opportunity to do so. It is also quite obvious that Meiji are big admirers of Ji's talent and would like to bring him into the team. What would you say to a possible deal happening between the two teams?

Of course it is a distinct possibility; Ji is the leading Chinese stage racer of the moment and Meiji are the leading team from the region. However, Ji is also worried about the obvious lack of ProTour opportunities and Pendleton's can't see a likely replacement from Meiji or the free agent market, especially at such a low wage. That being said, if a deal can be worked out, Pendleton's would like to see the ambitious Meiji project succeed. |

In a move to attract riders from nations, not only within the Baltics, but neighbouring them, airBaltic have been attracted by veteran climber, Siutsou. We believe he can act as a leader for the team, whilst being a mentor to some of the team's younger climbing hopefuls.
As such, we would like to enquire about Siutsou's position and situation within the Pendleton's team, and the upcoming renewals. Thanks.

Sivtsov is still a valued rider within the Pendleton's set-up and as such a good deal would be needed to prise him away. Sadly, there is nobody of compensatory value on Cyclevox's team as of yet. A large monetary deal could be considered but we will have to wait to see what airBaltic have to offer when transfer season comes around. |

As Pendleton's manager suggested, some of their riders are ready to leave, some of them are ready to come. Does he has any clues about future of Israeli rider Ran Margaliot? Team Metinvest-Emirates could be very much interested in this rider, as we had good experiences with riders from Israel in 2012 and he could be probably interested in team with two Israelis already on board?

Ran played a valuable role as a team-mate last year and has a lot of riding left in him. This transfer season will also see good domestiques rise in value so he is a steal at a rock-bottom wage. However, Ran may feel that he deserves the chance of a higher role within a team, so, if Metinvest can offer an equivalent rider or a good cash sum, he might be allowed to leave. |

Not fully decided yet. If his wage is more than 50k it's unlikely, unless he wins the French Championships...
Will definitely miss him if he does go though. My favourite rider. |

Really like your new jersey. Still looking very unique but far better than your old one. |

Very cool jersey, Will is fantastic designer. And the colours are still sweet as lollypop, although sexy pink is gone.

Phil Gilbert mentioned in interview that he wouldn´t be against move to the newly promoted team Pokerstars.com. "I´m fully satisfied with my position here in Pendleton. But I must admit I´d consider good offer from Belgian team very seriously if occurs. You know, my dream is become National Champion one more time and I believe I´d have bigger chance with strong team support.", he said.
Any comments from Pendleton´s HQ?
