Ciclistica Internazionale Stage 1:-
4 riders attacked inside the first km build up a gap of 1min.Another 5 attacked soon after,I sent one of my riders in the second breakaway(mostly to win mountain points) but interestingly the big teams in the peloton don't take control.Till rest of the my team came to the front of the peloton the gap was over 8mins with less than 100km remaining.It continues to grow on so I put my riders on 65% efforts to close the gap.Now what comes is the strange part,my group of riders seperate from the peloton(i guessed at the time they might get pulled back anytime soon)Very shortly my whole team (7 Riders)has a 2 min gap and I have a man in the breakaway as well.I get by team to relay at 75% effort as they gap is still more than 5mins at 60km mark.Meanwhile the peloton is still cruising.By the 40km mark my team catches up with a rider from the initial break and are 3 mins behind the breakaway with the peloton 15 mins behind. By the 5 km mark I manage to catch up with the breakaway and now I have all my riders in the break with 8 other riders so no points for guessing i won but the weird part is the Out of 150 riders only 16 finish at same time with one further 3mins behind and the rest 14 mins behind on the 1st stage.
