It's not really worrying me.
But i thought i should mention it just incase it can be fixed somehow. (i don't need to fix my current career, just wondering if i should do something so it doesn't repeat itself in the future, for example with one of my lead riders)

My rider (a helper, age 19 with good stats avg 71) was just done helping my leadrider over the penultimate mountain. He was never out of gas (all energy bars were filled almost halfway). He needed to get some water for my leader so i was about to select the guy, when i see him suddenly stop riding. No crash , no reports of riders falling of their bikes. He just stops.
I ticked all rider actions, but he did not react.
At the end of the race the game mentions my rider has givin up.
After the race was done the news section tells me my rider has a sprained wrist.

So yeah i had enough other helpers for my lead rider, so i'm not really upset. Just wondering why he suddenly gave up while i clearly saw that he didn't fall/crash.
It's probably not the reason, but I know that in one of my races, I was using the dot effort on a rider and clicked accidentally the effort to zero. He then stopped and quit the race! Kicked myself for a week and was really relieved that it wasnt a GC guy!

Sometimes a rider is injured without falling. But the opposite is also true for riders who fell. I don't think it is a problem because in my eyes it does not matter how a rider will get his injury (they even can hurt themselves without participating in races). It is the same bad luck in all three cases.
