Yet another problem.

Yet again I face another problem with this game (wow surprise, never happens ...)
Basicly the problem is that I face a runtime error at the second stage of Tour Down Under 2009. I cannot skip the stage, nor simulate or race it without getting a crash. When I pick the race in the calender I can view all stages except stage 2, as I crash if I try to view it.
Basicly my question is: Is there any way to skip a day in your game by the help of a converter? Or any other way to fix this problem?
Really not in the mood to start of all over again.

i've just fixed the exact same prolem for Panaflex, not that he knows yet as i haven't sent it back to him
on exactly the same stage so it must be a problem with PCM Spain on that stage
do you know how to work Hannes Convertor, if not or you just can't be bothered, upload all 3 of you save-game files via mediafie and send them to me, i will have it fixed in 5 mins
unfortuanatly you won't be able to play stage 2, there will be no results, as if it had never been played, but every stage after it will work

Hehe, well yea have a bit of experience with Hannes Converter. Been trying to fix it myself for a while now, just not sure which of the DYN / STA files I have to edit  |

neither, it's the GAM_config table that needs editing
i will tell you since you know how to use HC 2.0
1. open up your savegame
2. open up the GAM_config table
3. scroll accross to the fkIDstage_current column and type in 2530
4. scroll accross again for fkIDstage_last and type in 2676
5. save using the bottom button, then the top button, making sure you click the name of the table you editted before clicking ok
and that will work, as i said you won't be able to play stage 2 but, it's only a flat stage
oh and this will only work with this exact problem, if you get a crash on a different stage them post in a new thread, and i will give you the correct numbers to put in

Hey Addy, I have another crash.
In early March (I think only like the 3rd), Stage 5 of la Vuelta a Valencia crashed. You have the codes for that?

the game didn't crash for me though
it's attached. I have no idea what happened with you, but everything went smoothly here.

I'll have to give it a go.
And yeah, the team has shaped up well. Believe it or not, I have not used an editor for any aspect of that career. The 6M budget is legit. Petacchi and Hunter were left on the FA market on December 25th so they came cheap. They also give me some more elite sprinting talent beyond Boass, since Haedo, Goss, Van Heerden and the rest aren't there. I signed Cadel to a 1 year deal to help me get a Top 10 in le Tour, although he likely won't stay past this year so I can re-sign Pliuschin and what not. As for the young guns, they're starting to get difficult to afford, and I'll have to make some choices. Obviously, Boasson is staying regardless, and Nolf will likely stay a little longer for the classics, but past that it should be fun.

Didn't use my old file obviously, but the one you attatched, and the simmed day seemed to the trick. The old file still crashes on me, so there must be something wrong with it, but it doesn't matter now.

Been trying to fix it myself for a couple of days now, it seems that the problem is not a corrupt stage, but simply just one the usual pcm.exe lame runtime errors.  |
