Can not start game after installing the 1.3 Patch

Hi

It seems like everytime I try to install the Patch I am greeted with an error screen after it has downloaded and when it is installing. The error screen tells me that the PCM- Protection.dll could not be installed and so I have an option to either retry or carry on installing. If I click carry on then another similar error message comes up after a while and then if I click ignore again then it continues and finishes off installing.

Then after it has been installed when I attempt to start my game I am greeted with the error message saying that "the application has failed to start because PCM-Protection.dll was not found. I have attached the error message

I guess you already tried to install the patch after a fresh install:
- Uninstall the game
- Restart the computer
- Install the game
- Install the patch

You have to make sure to run the patch with admin rights.

If that still does not help, try to install the game into another folder which is NOT in C:\program files\, for example try C:\PCM2012\

If that still does not help, contact the official support.

Adapting your suggestion I installed the Patch again this time doing it with admin rights and it worked fine.
