Time trailing in an attack

when your game loads you can see a 'hints' bar,
and one hint i saw was that time trailist love to ride alone also in non time trail races.
just to be sure the TT stat is not used in 'normal' races right? |

Flat and resistance stats are used for riding alone on the flat.

I'm pretty sure that the the TT stat gives a boost on slopes beneath some certain percentage too. I don't know the exact numbers, but I'm quite sure that there's a small boost.

And on steep portions acceleration gives a small boost . I read in a thread some time ago.

I think someone (isso?) mentioned that the TT stat helps when climbing slopes below 5%. Likewise a high acceleration stat helps when climbing slopes above 5%.
