Cool story, but one advice:
Try to make your reports a little more organized, with a stage profile at the beginning of each report, and exported results
Oh, and press Ctrl+U before taking a screenshot, the interface will go away

MY QUESTIONS:
- how to make "tables"
- how to change the "poll" ; the correct way of deleting the old poll and then replacing it with a new one.

Haha, I am not the real Cancellara, nor is my name Fabian, but that should be obvious
Oh, well in that case, I am very curious about your following reports!

It sounds like a promising story, but I cant say that it looks like that... Im lost somewhere between the Tour 2012, The second stage of la Vuelta and the start of Down Under as Chevrolet and I really dont understand what you think is wrong with that jersey... I really like it! Plus, due to the stretching on the rider models, the shirt you kinda looking for, will probably one of the hardest jerseys to get done for a shirtmaker (well, at least so it looks decent).
No disrespect, but I am really lost between shirt request (which would be put better in a request thread / Graphics Thread) story line and the poll. Right now its nearly impossible to follow...
Story telling takes time (stage by stage race by race) and most readers and writers want a nicely organised thread. Hence it is really hard for Story writers to keep up their motivation for a whole season or more (like tsmoah or squire did). So if you are eager to play a lot, copy your save and use one for the story and the other one for a fun career or start a new one on the side to keep you busy if you are lacking the motivation to write. I bet most people do it like that, because no reader likes a story that is jumping plot wise from left right and center just to move forward...
Again, no disrespect, and i encourage you to keep it up, cause I havent seen a Team Type 1 Story (with or without name change) go very far and id like to see what such a team can do in the pro tour!
EDIT: Oh and by the way, the comment about the shirt is a personal touch. If you want a completely different shirt to field your team that should entirely be up to your decision!

Aaaah Finally some comments !
thank you thank you
@miggi133:
So first of all, i see your comment as high respect. All feedback, especially negative feedback is very appreciated. (i want to learn)
As you guys have allready figured out, i'm new to this "story" telling.
But i'm a very experienced pcm player, so my writing can't keep up with the pace of my gameplay.
So my first idea was just to start writing and see what will happen. After a while - like you mentioned - it all became a little chaotic.
My gameplay includes keeping track of lots of information, cause i'm a stat junkie myself, i know there are people that want to see all that stuff. But to be honest, indeed, i'm never gonna be able to keep up with all that information. I just don't know what people want to see (screenshots) or read. It would be alot easier if there were some people that would ask for stuff they would like to see or know about.
So i have to do it diffenretly and have been thinking about lots of other ways how to organize and tell a nice story that everybody can enjoy.
With that thought i was thinking i should just continue, continue writing and probably continue making mistakes....all in the hope somebody will respond and tell me how i can do it differently, and probably better
Also if i make any anoying mistakes regarding the English language, please feel free to correct me, so i don't make the same mistake twice.
about that hopping from vuelta/cut to season2013, i was thinking about putting screenshots of an edited stageprofile. But unfortunatly i havn't figured out how it works yet. So i decided to wait for an answer on my question about those "edited stageprofiles" and put the vuelta on the shelve till i got it figured out. The same evening i played pcm (all night long ) and stumbled upon some new questions, like: "I'm busy with my teamplan, but i want to include other people in making the choices. Only what would other people think? hmmm actually ...not much people are asking me about my story.....i guess i'll just keep on writing till i get some comments"
First time is used polls, so i'm actually just testing it out for fun, sorry if it added in an anoying way to the allready huge chaos in this thread.
I also like the Chevrolet shirt.... but i think it can get 10x better with some minor ajustments..(a logo that integrates smoothly with rest of shirt and no Kelme on the leggs or anywhere else) the example i mentioned was just something i came up with at that moment, i understand that this example is probably a bit too much to ask for.
@sutty68:
I'm sorry sir, in my story you're not gonna find a heroic "team type 1" story. Like i said in my first post, i was looking for a team that i could change asap. So i searched for a team wich i thought had ugly shirts, so i would have no bad feelings about it later when my new sponser shirt is even uglier.

WEll, just starting to write and see what happens is kind of the wrong approach (i think), because it just creates this chaos. Maybe another tip (just to get an actual clean start. Take it or leave it, afterall its your story ):
Since this story wont really have to do anything with Team Type 1 and the 2012 season, just restart the story as a 2012 story (a new thread) and take it away from there and just post the end results and major changes. Quite a few people use that approach, and the readers just wont jump from race to race in the last season to the new season and all they get at the bottom line is a huge question mark...
Whatever you choose to do, I wish you good luck anyways!
Oh and the shirt thingy: Better post that in a graphics related thread, as not every graphics designer is mad into stories or reading every story

I'm very interested in this sentence. Can you explain this in more detail
And wich end results and major changes do you want with screenshots. Like if a Tour de France was not very interesting i add no ss. And when some regular race was super exciting i put/link a full story in a "spoiler" ?
I was thinking about not starting over, but really cleaning up this story (mostly the beginning).
Then do a story about each month. Collecting information and screenshots then make a nice story about it.

Right, sorry if I didn't express myself well enough, but I was rather dizzie since I been working the whole day... I ment to say, that a lot of story writers just start playing a career and then suddenly decide that they would like to make a story out of it... (like you) but many of them don't start up in the middle of the season but rather start the story at the beginning of the new season so that the reader gets a clean front page with all the details about the story, such as riders etc. Here it's all over the gaff and I still don't know if this is a team story or a one rider story (you wrote quite a bit on a self created rider)...
Hope this is clearer now
As for the major changes: just post screenshots or list the result of the most important races, transfers and team name changes, as well as the pro and superprestige rankings for the previous season. And then you start with the first race you do and do a detailed report...
If you still get confused with a few of my sentences (if I use to much Irish slang ie.) lemme know and I'll try to express myself a bit better

I think i understand, thanks for the help miggi133
This weekend i'll start a new begin. i'll make one example post, then i'll ask if people like the new "style". If all is thumbsup, the new project will be a go. I will take more time making the stories, treating the story like i would treat the making of a book. Organized and complete.
I still don't know if this is a team story or a one rider story
> yeah you right, thanks
p.s. At the moment i'm reading Roturn's story, his style is very organized.
AND ! i just finnished reading your story aswell Miggi133. Very nice setup and beginning, and bummer bout your savegame.
Also I was thinking about that thread title rider/team problem. Situation for me is that i want to play as realistic as possible (with a fanatsy rider).
So i can name the thread title "k.Rokarov blablabla" or "Team type 1 blablabla" , but the fact stays that it could change any new season. (I will give away a spoiler here) Rokarov's contract is done next year, and he's made it clear that he wants to move to another team. I could edit his stats so he stays forever in my team, but i won't, I'm gonna let him go, and then i'll race against him - let the story unfold.
Team type 1 contract is done, i wanted this, so now i have a new sponser. In two years the sponser could change again.
So in my case, a title with the name Rokarov or my team sponser will never last forever.
Maybe i should name the Thread : "i'm the best pcm player in the world, and i'll show it !
just joking
