Hi, My name is Wesley Kreder. And welcome to my blog.
I was born the 4th November 1990 in the Netherlands were I also grew up.
I've always been fashionated by cycling and after I got picked up to Rabo's Conti Team in 2008,
I Knew that cycling it's what I wanna to for the rest of my life (or, atleast almost).
I've had steady progress since then and I've picked up lots of small wins here and now.
But then, in 2012, Vacainsoleil called me up and I did of course say yes to a role as a stagiare,
(Iven though that meant that i could't choose any of the races in my calender anymore, but that is just a minor case) to see if im
worthy enough to race in the highest level of cycling. |

This will be my teamates during the 2012 season.
Team Leaders
Poels will concentrate 100 % on La Vuelta
De Gendt's schedule will be all about preperarism for the Giro
Leukemans will think mainly be about the Classics

Good luck. Hope he'll develop the same way as W. Kreder in my PCM 11 story, riding for Garmin in his 3rd season and Hills 79!

Monthly Summary - January
January was a quite silent month for us, where nobody really was in shape.
Except Johny Hoogerland, who also endet second in General Classy+ He addet a KoM jersey to his record list!
PS: Sioutso won on and the dutchman from Saxo, Kroon endet third.
In the bigger race, Santos Tour Down Under, we were helpless, and the race was completly dominated by a strong RNT team!
They endet 1rst, 3rd and 5th, with Gerdeman, Bakelants and Nizzolo, Bakelants also won the KoM jersey and I think it's no suprise that they've also won the team rankings..
Rankings 1/12
On of our team goals is of course to stay in the ProTour and maybe even win it too. But first we gotta be on it..

Monthly Summary - February
February was defintly another waiting month, iven though it was much more races.
But more races doesn't always means more succes, which were our case.
Our best result was defintly Larsson's 9th place in the GC of Etoile de Besseges,
I think that just proved my point..
Note: The race was won by the frenchman Sylvain Chavanel.
Other races were we didn't do that 'well':
Vuelta a Mallorca: Intxausti wins infront of D. Martin and LP. Nordhaug.
Tour of Qatar: Qatar was nothing else than another Radishack domination..
With they having almost top 9, only splitted by a T. Boonen in third.
Tour de Mediterraneen: Another Movistar victory, ending 1 and 3, only splitted by
another Radioshack guy..
Giro della Calabria: Katusha suddenly decidet's to start winning again..with Paolini.
Volta ao Algarve: Ballan starts up his succes month. Winning infront of Valverde and Gerdeman (RNT!),
Tour of Oman: Bodnar takes a suprising victory. Finishing infront of to GreenEDGE guys.
Tour de Haut Var: Voeckler starts adding races to his record list again. Tour of South Africa: Was luckily for the homecrowd won by a MTN - Qhubeka'er: Janse van Rensburg!
Followed by two columbians from EPM - UNE Team.
Vuelta a Andalucia: Wiggins also starts his winning record list for the season. Finishing infront of two
Rabo guys.
Le Tour de Langkawi: Another race won by a Radioshack dude. Ben Hermans! Cataldo second and Bookwalter third.
Omloop Het Nieuwsblad: Ballan grabs home this one, Van Summeren and Cancellara also finnish in the same group.
Beverbeek Classic: The argentinian Richeze takes this one for Team Nippo.
Ster van Zwolle: Katusha's continetal team also in the mood! Wins this one with Kochetkov.
Kuurne - Bruxelles - Kuurne: Don't get to suprised, but Ballan won! Haussler 2nd and Boonen third.
GP di Lugano: Katusha dominance - 1rst, 3rd and 4th. The race was won by maybe Rodriguez most important helper, Moreno.
Classica de Almeria: McEwen still got his kengury jump! Farrar 2nd and Nizzolo 3rd (RNT!).
Boucles du Sud Ardeches: Mondory actually! Wins infront of Rathe and Flahaut.
Le Samyn: Hayman wins infront of Burghardt and Roelandts. |

Hey, this will be the first blog since my first pro race is Tomorow(Paris - Nice!) It's actually my first race ever I'll be racing for Vacansoilel!
And first, as you might have seen it wasn't in my Season Schedule in the start,
but as a Stagiare, many things can change very fast! So, anyway, im hugely excited for it!
And I hope to do a good job for a Team Leader Liuwe Westra. As that will be my biggest task.
But if Westra fails and our Sportif Directeur have given up getting a stage
win with a Sprinter - the to go I MIGHT get the green light to go into a breakaway! But, as I said, that's
very unlikly, that, a first year Stagiare, in a ProTeam, in a Pro race, even manage to get onto one!
Sometimes Traning pays off!
See you in Paris - Nice soon! Oh, and btw, Thanks so much for everyone following!

So, it was finally here.
The Morning,
I couldn't belive when i woke up this morning, I was ten minutes late for
breakfast! I puttet on some clothes and ran down the stairs..Please don't say they left..
please don't say..I mumbled to myself. Pooh, they were still eating! But were was Pavarin and Lagutin? I asked our DS and he laughed and said they were always those who always
came up after the others! I mumbled sthm like 'eH' and didn't like to think of that ''I'' was gonna be a late wakeuper for the rest of my life:/
The Race Preparition,
Our sprinter, Kenny Robert Van Hummel, was our first guy to start, and I was suprised over how cool they all were. Like, ''I do this shit everyday'' modus, then I realised that most of them probably did that!
While walking down (or up) to the signup section I realized
how big these races were in comparison to those races i've raced only like a year ago. So wierd.
So, they started one after one, after what I could hear from the speaker.
Valls started...Ruijgh started... Phinney crushed everyone at the intermedia time with 10 secoonds!- I heard the speaker screaming. He's defintly gonna be though to beat!
But since he's a so early starter it's impossible to say if the conditions and such gonna change..
After Lagutin started
it's was only me and Westra left from our team.. Couldn't it me my turn soon!?!
My Race
It finally became my turn, after many of the prolouges specialist already had started.
3'2'1 biiib, I sat off.
But I since i was sooo tempted to drive fast, I kinda overrated my powers like most newcomers thus and pushed way to hard in the hill (or my powers)
It's okay, My coach said afterwards, you aren't driving for the GC anyway.
And the most importent thing is to learn from your mistakes,
and be smarter in the future.
And it's almost goes wrong for B.Wiggins on his way to victory.
