Editing existing stages

Hi. I'm wanting to edit an existing stage. When I use open it is looking for .cts and .zcts. However the files I am looking at are .cds and .zces.

Also, if I change the extension and open it, it doesn't work..

Any advice?

Just to clarify, you want to edit a stage from the game, not one that you've made yourself?

If that is the case, then you'll need to ask the stagemaker to either give you the .zcts file, or to edit the stage for you. The stagemaker is the only one who has the correct file.

That is correct.

Sorry, how do I get it to give me the .zcts file? Is this using the PCM stage editor?

You can't edit stages unless you have the zcts file. Only the original stage maker has it, so you will have to ask whoever made the stage you want to edit whether he wants to share the zcts file with you.

The ones I wanted were the original stages from the game.. So I take it those are not retrievable then? (just to be clear lol)
