Starting a game or waiting for patch and db.?

So i have had my game for a couple of months, but have barely played. The reason is, that i wanna wait until the final patch and pcmdayli´s db is out. A mate of mine told me, that there might not be a new patch, but that a db might be available later. If so, it´s pointless for me to wait any longer, so is this true.?

As im a bit tired of waiting, i was wondering if the game is fine and the ai is good enough for an enjoyable game.? If so, i am gonna start a career today.

No, there won't be any more patches. Download a DB compatible with 1.3.0.0, either the A.S.O DB, the Stanos DB or the Daily DB wich will be available later tonight.

awesome the new daily db is out tonight, as im about to start a game.
