Hello cylinglovers,
When all new databases are out, i will venture on my first story ever.
So i want to do it right. From my homebase in Ankara i will form the team that will go on a quest for the first place in PRO-TOUR with the team and win a GT and 3 classics.
WITH ONLY CYCLISTS from CYCLING 3th-WORLD COUNTRIES as suppliers.
-No europeans, no north or south americans nor aussies or kiwi's
-i will go on as long as it takes, 2040 i don't care.
Impossible you say, welll every db has its white raven who is capable of winning the tour altough coming from Algeria, Uzbekistan or Japan
Maybe it will take yeaaaars for it to happen, but i will find them.
The story will rely on speed (i can play one season every 3 days...without simulating) so i will only report on big events and in the years after 2015 i will observe the Sagan's and Bo Hagens how they are gracefully aging...
First i will examine which db is suitable (pcm expanded, stanos or plakker giant) after that there are some other questions.
-Shall i make a custom team to start or take a small team from south afrika or Iran ?
-If a custom team what should be suitable sponsers (OXFAM ? UNICEF ? RED CRESCENT ?) they seem a bit fluffy Qhebeka is perfect but already exsists
Can i consider Greece, Serbia and Brazil as 'cycling' 3th world countries ?
In other words where should i draw the line to make it do-able ?
Anyway when i work this out i make a big team presentation where goals,
participating sponsors, countries and riders will be presented.
Until then i learn about the graphical aspects,
coz i know the text doesn't look good
Once started, i promise a campaign that will run until at least 2040 before 1 jannuary 2013. (if technically possible, time is no issue)

Sounds very interesting. Good luck. I don't think there should be any difference between 'cycling' 3rd world countries and regular 3rd world countries. So, Brazil, Greece and Serbia wouldn't be 3rd world (in my opinion) |

I'd say go with what you said in the introduction, no Europe, North America, or Australia. Maybe some other countries depending on what others want. |

2040 won't be possible, The story of 2100 and beyond showed that the game crashes in 2038 (if I'm not mistaken)
However, a fresh idea here, good luck with it! |

This project was with a 2011 game, i should verify this.
I managed to reach 2037 with the pcm 2010 and 2012 pcm expansion db.
So i have good hopes it will work this time.
Also the only reason my previous recordraid crashed was because the new variant of races was announced with a message that was 5 days later, cummulating every year.
Causing the 2037 Paris Nice variant being given.... after the 2th stage of Paris Nice, which still showed the stage of the previous edition (2036),
was already ridden.
Understand ? No ? Neither did my computer......
Sorry for my english , i know the words, but not how to throw them in a sentence

As it proved to be the most stable db (in previous pcm's) i am waiting the pcm daily expansion. Biting my nails, only to know there are many people like me now.
Like Bolt in the 4x100, eagerly awaiting the stick

if i should believe imf and ratingbureaus i can make a team with spanish and italian riders. So i will cut the 3word title and just say the Africa-Asia Union vs the powers that be
As i come to think of it a shirt with the face of Guevarra would be awesome.
i just decide i will also include Cubans (only exception i promise)
No Kazak riders tough they are too good.
Uzbeks, israeli and Turkish will also be welcomed.
First transfertarget will be Daniel T. the Eritrean pioneer.
Just imagin if you would start a cyclingshool in the Kenian highlands....
They would be the new Columbians.

tought about it, but in the beginning his wages will be the same as my entire team together, maybe when he's 35 we'll have a little 'homecoming'.
This would be good dramatical story element.

Portugal ?? Went there on holiday, seemed pretty decent.
Altough my dad says 'holiday' is going to a place where people are worse off then you thus being friendly whenst bringing your beer.
