So I was in a race and with the flurry of clicking that I was doing I accidentally dragged the map behind the riders stat bars (energy, heart rates etc...). I try and try to click and drag it back but the mouse cannot grip it. Is there a way to reset the race mini screens?

I never heard about this and I am not sure if there is a way to reset it.
But doesn't it reset automatically in the next race?
If not, then try brute force: Reduce the rider bars, then make some of the riders abandon (individual effort + 0%). When they are gone, push backspace. Repeat until you can get hold of the map again.
