Rider Abandon?

I've just started playing PCM2012 and have noticed the 'Tip' bar on the 3D pre-race screen. One of these mentions 'retiring riders' to stop race days accumulating. How do you get riders to abandon? Is there a keyboard shortcut? Or do I simply turn down effort to zero so the riders finishes outside the time limit?


Thanks in advance for any responses.

You already guessed it. Set the effort bar to 0. Smile

Simply put the effort to 0, then they will retire Smile
