Yeah, but the Long TTT seem in favor of the human...
Cyanide should fix it, but you better just simulate the (short) TTT's |

Couldn't agree more.. i always simulate the TT to get a realistic result. Not just TTT..in mountain TT u can win by a big margin even u r not the Favorited.Simply put a high effort in high section u'll overachieve..lame |

Ok, that's explain why I cannot do better in the Tirreno first stage. I tried 7 times last night, with various settings (effort / relay timing) and I always finish at 1 minute of the winners
I will simulate the short TTT from now. |

Playing hard with Euskaltel in the Giro TTT (30kms) and doing all the TT with 99% effort I won the stage. Not much realistic.
Game Version: PCM 2012 1.2.0.0
Database: PCM Daily Expansion Pack
Game Difficulty: Hard
Riders Form: 89
I don't remember exactly how much seconds I set for every rider... but it was 25 for the better TT (Samu Sanchez), and the I put like 20 to the TT above 70 and 15 for riders with less than 70.
They all relay.

I don't think it's only about the two bars being empty at the same time, at least not if the route isn't completely flat. For example you don't want the rider to go 60% if he is going downhill for 10 km.
Example: 20 km time trail, 10 km downhill followed by 10 km uphill.
The first 10 km you want the effort at for example 75 and the last 10 km at 60.
But still keep in mind that letting your rider get in a good rythm by not changing effort to much, will allow him to ride at a faster pace with less energy consumption. |

On any TT over 20k I usually start out at around 55 effort. This gives you a controlled start with a very fast finish. I often use my riders who start earlier on to guage the efforts of my stronger riders. Eg. Use the first few on slightly differing tactics to see which one gives the best result then use that for latter riders. |

About TTT. I don't know in PCM12, but in PCM11 you could put your best TTer at the front with maximum effort until he was exhausted, then put the second best TTer did the same thing and so on. Your worse TTers didn't even take a single relay and you could win any TTT that easily. It works probably the same in PCM12.
Individual TTs in PCM are pretty easy. As nutter suggested, use your first riders to estimate the effort so they finish the race exactly at the same time the green bar is consumed. This means in hilly TTs you will spend your green bar faster than the the blue one, but that is compensated in the downhills and flats.
However, I suggest you better to simulate the TTs and TTTs. The mechanism is so flawed that you can easily achieve very unrealistic performances if you play them yourself.
