Yes, in real life you can talk to the sponsors about getting more money. This game has a somewhat similar functionality. You can negotiate with your current sponsors or search new sponsors when the contract is running out. So there are several ways to do what you want, either reduce the contract length to 1 year before you start a career or at the end of the season. And if you want to cheat, then use the forum search because it has been answered before. Search for value_i_sponsor_future
Thanks for the reply, I do not want to cheat, I want to play with the values from the database, but so is almost impossible to keep the best runners in my team (SKY), because if the value you offer to the rider is less than it earns , it goes away.

This game has a problem with teams having expensive riders. The total wage budget cannot be higher than a certain amount (I cannot remember the number but this can be found in the forum because it has been discussed often).
If that is your problem, then the only solution is to reduce the actual contracts using an editor.
