Why do some databses just not work for Career Mode?

Wel there are many databases out there that are perfectly good but when you try to start a career with them, you have no riders to choose from. Does anyone know how or why this happens?

Well Romains' Nations DB doesnt work, and my attempt at a nations db also doesnt work in career mode.
For example in my one, I select carreer, pick a team and choose the team roles but when I proceed to the career EVERY single rider is listed as 'free' - so basically none of the teams have any riders.

But is there anything I can do to change that? I really want mine to work for career mode, and I cant see why it shouldnt. |

I think maybe that if a team has no riders in it, it automatically becomes permanently de-funct. Ill keep experimenting though. |
