I want to start a new career, but don't know which team to pick.
I allready started a couple of times with Astana and Movistar, but i always start doubting if i made the right choise.
sometimes i feel like starting with Lotto, but in my opinion the width of the team isn't really that good..
Any sugguestions?? |

A strong, wide team is Quickstep, or Team Sky, Radioschack,or BMC, in my opinion. However, Astana is also pretty strong, and you could make it better with the right transfers. |

yeah, but with OPQ the focus is more to the clasics, in GC's they can handle in brakeaways or tt, but for the rest ...
and i allready looked at sky or radioschack, but then its like they exepct u to win, while astana is more of an outsiderteam
for me bmc is a big bunch of all and bunch of nothing scraped together |

depends what you want
if you want GT's try Euskatel, while keeping them basque
if you want sprints try Orica, can move towards more GC in a season or two
for width it has to be Sky or Garmin.
Astana are good
Lotto have width, but not depth.
OPQ are wide but shallow as well
RSNT is too easy...
just depends what you want

yeah, think i need to find a good combination.
i like the sprints, and its by far my strongest point on pcm, but when i get to a mountain stage I also get the feeling of having a good climber.
Was first thinking about Lotto, but like u said, couple of climbers, 1 decent and 1 average sprinter, a couple of guys to do classics and end top 10 max, and the rest is .... |

id recommend either
Rabobank, renshaw, bos, gesink
or
Orica, Goss, gerrans
both have good climbers and sprinters
both can cobble as well
and can keep your transfers simple, dutch or aussie

Take Team Europcar??? They have fairly good sprinters (Sé. Chavanel SP 76 ACC 71, Pelucchi SP 75 ACC 75-76, Haddou SP 75 ACC 73) and they have Voeckler, Rolland and Kern.

Or you could take Movistar? They have Valverde, Rojas and Cobo Acebo |

Start with a lower ranked team and see if you can make them the best |
