Well the voting is in and the winner of the vote is the course that takes in the Muur de Geraardsbergen. This will no doubt be an exciting course that could go to riders who are good on the cobbles or in a sprint, or maybe it will require skills in both! The course takes in the Muur 4 times in the second half of the race and with a length of 250km that might prove decisive.
[Note: There are about 200m more of cobbles not pictured]
This is for the Elite RR of course and here are the differences with the other courses: U23 RR - Same course, with only three laps of the finishing circuit, but the same start and finish. Elite TT - About 58km and it will take in the Muur once. U23 TT - About 40km and it will take in the Muur once. Nations TTT - Same course as the Elite TT
More details will be made available from roturn within a few days.

The first step towards creating the team is the nomination process. Each team may nominate as many or as few of their riders to ride in the world championships. The selectors then choose from the available riders to create the road race, time trial and team time trial squads.
Remember that only nominated rides may be selected by the selectors, meaning that the worlds will only be contested by riders from active teams who nominate them.
Teams who do not have enough riders nominated may be downgraded a level. Further, any teams whose most suitable riders aren't nominated may be withdrawn and replaced by one of the reserve teams. Thus nominating riders for the reserve teams is important.
You can also volunteer to become a selector for a country.
- To do this, you must have a rider in your team from that country
- Once the nominations are in, I PM the selectors for each and every country, they then make their team selections, and the most selected riders are those who get to ride. If there are still any ties after 3 rounds of voting I will provide the tiebreaker.
- The more selectors a country has, the better.
Under 23's
Riders not selected for the Elite Road Race and aged 23 or under as of 26th September 2012 will be available for the U23 Road Race. Likewise riders not selected for the Elite Time Trial will be available for the U23 Time Trial. The startlists for these races will be compiled by Smowz for the lists of available riders. As Taylor Phinney won both the U23 Road Race and U23 Time Trial last year he will not be available for selection in the Under 23 race.
NOTE: Nominations will close at approximately 15:00 on 29th August, British time.

I'm kind of surprised the Muur won it. Only a cobbler has any chance at it - be made marginally more interesting by the fact that Boonen won't be riding.
Got no one worth nominating in either of my teams so I'll skip nominating anyone.
And a question (sorry if it's a dumb one ..): Do those u23-riders have to be nominated for the WC-race to be available for the u23-race? Or can a rider race the u23 without being nominated here? And: If a rider is selected for the Elite TT, can he still ride the u23 RR?
