I pick my teams generally with the GC in mind and rarely do I have more than one good sprinter in a race. Due to this fact, I can not form my own train for the mass sprints and must rely on following someone else's train. The problem is that sometimes my sprinter can not stay on another sprinter's wheel. He starts following at 11.9 K but loses it before the sprint begins. What am I doing wrong? Should I put my guy on 99 effort? Is 65 effort too low? |

he needs to be on "aggresive" as rodda says
but keep him on 65% until 3kms to go otherwise it wastes his energy

Yes, he is on aggressive. I do not know what the problem is. He just goes off the guy's wheel and reverts back to his previous command such as "short relay" or "maintain
position". It does not happen all the time but when it does it is between the 5K-10K mark. |

Thats probably because another sprinter has 'ousted' you out of the train. You then need to try and find a new train to follow.

Today i was playing with Euskaltel, and i was with Koldo in Vaitkus Wheel, and he was in Boonen's Wheel, but at 4km till the end, Pettachi just stoled me my position, and i started the sprint 10 positions behind. But when i tried at 10km till the end stole Pettachi position i could't, is there any secret i do not know? |

The higher the sprint stat, the better chance you have of stealing positions or not having your own position stolen.
Try to maybe follow one of the 'lesser' sprinters who is following his own teammate, as that can often get you in a great position.
