guys i got a problem, every time a make a carreer i cant go any futher. cause i cant make my team for the world championschips. it says 0/0 riders all the time. so cant select any one because im over the max players. my files are like carriere_5. carrier_5.cbd~ and carrier_5.cdi. i gave my self a litle money and i got my pcm france db V1 or V2. but also official release it doenst work. i tried removing the ~ at my files but it keeps coming back help me please? |

Normally there is a mail in the game telling you to make the preselection. At a later time, you should do the selection. If you forgot to do the preselection, you might end up like that.
You could try to copy a backup from the weeklysave folder to your save game folder and then immediately do the preselection.
If this is not your problem, then please explain in more detail.
BTW: This has nothing do with the file names. The .cdi file is not important and the .cdb~ file is just a backup. |

ahh okay i already tried to make the selection when i received the mail i started to select but it says that i can select 0/0 riders. so if i select 1 player it says that i already have thhe max players but stil selects it. maybe its because the DB? and do you know what month the selection is i thougt 1 july till 30 august

I don't know what the problem is, but it definitely isn't because you added some money. Unless you made other changes in an editor, possibly? |

You could try to start a career with the official database and advance up to February, and then you can see if you can pick a selection, then you'll know if it's database related or not. |

What prevents you from taking a weeklysave and see if it works like a week or a month before? If it never worked, then do what Ian Butler suggest and see if it is related to the DB. |

its nothing to do with selection in febuary etc as you cant advance the game without picking a natinal team to manage, or making pre selevtions
if its the itt then its a known issue that was fixed in the latest patch

nahh i have the last patch. and made a new carreer 3 days ago. i dont know what the issue is i will go play an whole new carreer en see hhwat happens. maybe it works maybe not. other wise. i delete and reinstall the whole game maybe that works? cause i dont know if i have gott the official database with out editing it. i thought i tried change every thing my self but overwrite it. i will play fast till february by sim every thing and the post again

i can play with the normal data base. so its it u know issue on my 3 other carreers but problem solved

This has nothing to do with reinstalling the game. If it is not caused by the game, then it is in the save. And the save will neither be deleted nor fixed by re-installing the game. |
