Does anyone here play guitar hero? I'm an addicted and I need some tips for the drums career in GH MetallicA (fav band). If someone plays I could use the help And we can discuss about the game too
I've been soooo addicted to it, but then my base drum pedal got loose and I never repaired it for some reason, and since MW2, me and my friends played that a lot more.
I loved the drums in "Toxicity", they are awesome
In general, playing the guitar for 7 years now helped impressing the girls on any party.
GH3 is by far my favourite (followed by Metallica for sure), have great memories of mastering "One" on Expert the first time.
Had awesome songs like "Welcome to the Jungle", "Black Magic Woman", "Avalancha", "Bulls on Parade", "Cherub Rock", "Knights of Cydonia, "Pride and Joy", "Reptilia"....

I need some help for Double Bass parts because Lars sometimes uses very fast double bass and for me it depends from time to time. Sometimes my muscles do fine and I can do some fast DB too but sometimes my legs just don't answer, I just can accelerate even a little bit. Any help for it?

If it makes you feel better, in the higher difficulties they just put in rhythms that don't have much to do with the real drumming just to make it hard. In reality Lars is well known as one of the worst drummers in metal
GH3 was awesome. Never played since.

Lars as his fame but that's an unfair fame. I went to the 2nd night in Lisbon in 2010 and I went to Rock in Rio Lisboa in May this year and especially on the last one Lars played FUCKING AMAZINGLY. His fame is really not deserved. He is a great drummer (not the best -> Lombardo xD ) but as an overall musician -> drumming + song writing + control of business + live stage performing there's no one even close to him. He really is special and has an unique style. And in higher difficulties I think you are wrong. Listen to some drum tracks

Talking about challenging, anyone ever mastered "Through the Fire and the Flames" on Expert?
I don't have the game that brings it so I didn't try. I wouldn't anyway, I play in expert (well I should say) but I'm not a plastic guitar virtuoso (yet )

As I already said, biiig mistake. GH3 has by far the best song list imo.
Although including the drums increased the fun in multiplayer a lot.

Fair enough, let's agree to disagree

Apparently not even Dragonforce have
It's one of those songs where you think "I wonder who could play it flawlessly live?", and after Buckethead you just draw a blank

Guitar hero, what a fun that is.
I never played drums there, only guitar at my friend place, but this game is the best for parties, only you cannot drink like a rockstar.
I have been at Mettalica this June in Prague and yeah, Lars is not the master drummer, but not bad either. My legend is John Bonham (Led Zeppelin).
